hahah i was like, wth, i just told the guy above me that. And then someone asked exactly the same question hahaha.

@dictoresno: yeah, the bare metal bits need to be the same side as the push button on the watch. Easy to remember once you figured out how it works.

But still, some adapters doesnt fit properly, the quality is gettting better as far as i can see

yea, stupid me. i feel bad now making him send me another one.

are you sure they are in right? once i found my issue (same adapters, same seller), they fit fine.

Yep they are in correct. I even did them the other way just to prove to myself i did have them right.

They fit and hold but they just don't feel secure.

If I pull on the rap at all they pull away from the body of the watch.

Are your flush and are you NOT able to pull it away from the watch some ?

Thanks for the reply... I'm glad to hear you got yours from the same seller.

when the one side was installed incorrectly, it definitely felt like it was pulling out of the watch body and slid 4mm in both directions. now that its in right, it feels tight. the bands/adapters are home right now so i cant triple check. send the seller, inkoo888, pictures and a message. they have decent customer service and will probably send you a replacement like they did for me. is it one or both for you??

Well evidently the way mine are is correct...

These are the ones from the NJ guy... I think I am going to try the Utica guy and see how those are.

Heres a video so you guys tell me. I don't think them being able to rock around the channel like that is very good at all and over time I think will deform it.

for what its worth, my original black sport bands rock around the channel even more than in that video. So it wiggles much more than the third cheap party adapter ..........

Also, another note, same adapter but it behaves differently depends you insert it on the top or the bottom channel strap. So try both see which adapter fits which channel better before installing the straps.

The sport band's covered in a soft material - you would expect give in the channel because of that. I'd be setting the bar as high as the apple adapters on their classic buckle for a permanent use adapter. (or you can look at the ones on Apple's link band). Absolutely no give there.

Don't get me wrong, I ordered a set of cheap adapters ($12US) - but I'm not expecting them to be used once we have a source for the Apple licensee adapters. (still waiting for my cheapies - we'll see if they arrive before good ones are available).

1. Can you please tell me where you got this adapter, I am able to find only silver color of screw less adapter. If it's available in aliexpress also I can order.
2. Which brand is the band? I like the color can you provide link where to get?

You can get the adapters here : http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=45283115909
The band in the photo is from Fossil. For this you will need to go to your local Fossil head office and try to convince them to sell you a strap.

In my opinion, I think the screwless with traditional lug and pin style adapters are better.

personally, i don't like the springbar setups as traditionally used. I've ripped my straps off my g-shock watches when i snagged them on something at work while in harsh environments. the screwed in lugs are a must for me since i require near 0% chance of the watch being separated from the band. for everyday use, sure springbars are fine, but under certain circumstances, i don't trust them at all. sometimes you think they are seated, but they aren't. good luck finding a popped out springbar. its next to impossible. i can't imagine the screwed in adapters yanking out or pulling apart at the band.

I put this in the marketplace too but figured I would ask here too. The company I bought the original grey set from sent me a replacement since i thought one was messed up. But since it wasn't and they sent me the steel colored and I have space grey, I have no use for it. First $5 via paypal takes it. Ill throw it in an envelope and mail it. Again, its just the one side, great for someone who wants a backup. These are the adapters from the eBay seller inkoo888. PM me for paypal address. REMINDER: THIS IS ONLY ONE ADAPTER, AS IT WAS A REPLACEMENT.

same here, i have to agreed the "copy" Apple design adapter is better than the standard Springbar setup since its much less likely to fail. Specially with cheaply knock off adapters. The pins and holes are too likely to drop your watch any sec.

With the "apple" type. even if its cheaply made, the only component that likely to fail is the screw which you can replace with some good ones, though its likely to fail. Just superglue it or really tighten it.

With springbar type, you can change to a better bar, but the hole and they way they make it cant be change....

Ive chewed up the holes in my g-shocks while trying for an hour to re-seat my springbars after changing them over to zulu straps. i cant stand springbars.
