Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

I‘ll hold off for now. Luckily my lineup doesn’t look outdated yet 👌🏻

I have to disagree here … the new display will be so obvious on the wrist, it will make all older Watches look (relatively) outdated. Sorry 😉

Almost 20% bigger display with much smaller bezels, 70% brighter always-on mode and 33% faster charging are more than enough reasons for me to upgrade. 😊

Actually, looking at the colours and materials, my main problem will be choosing which S7 to get. 😂 Natural Ti is the front runner for now, but the brighter Hermès (always on) watch faces are also calling me … And I‘m very curious how the Starlight aluminium will look IRL. If I didn‘t have too many straps that wouldn‘t really go with it, I‘d also strongly consider the dark Green aluminum.

SB Titanium with a Shell Cordovan band. Hoping this at least has an S7 SoC, even if it is a small improvement from the S6 SoC

So is this “starlight” a kind of champagne color? Comparing the starlight iPad mini to the silver iPad 9th gen makes it seem a little beige-y. But the starlight sport band looks just gray to me. I guess I’ll have to see the starlight watch in person before I buy.

I don't have AC+ sadly, so if my S4 dies I'll have to get either the SE or the 7 as placeholders lol
When the time comes and you do get a new watch, I strongly suggest you consider getting AC+.
my speaker dies about 3 months ago and I got a new (refurb) replacement, new case/glass and battery…

If all that is important to YOU, by all means, go for it!
It’s not important to everyone, including me

Not the original writer but yes, I agree. Some may care about the screen, others will care about health sensors.

Sure, too each his/her own. But please recognize that the post I answered to was dealing with the look of the Watch, not the features. And the look, on the wrist, will be different.

I am wondering that too. I did the AR view using my phone and it honestly looks like a very dark navy.
That's what I'm afraid of . I was thinking of updating my S4 and wanted black or dark grey for a change ( I have the silver one)

I don’t understand why they announced it today when they’ll only start shipping later this year. Why not announce it with the Macs next month?

Well… I guess we have to agree to disagree in that case 😉

I think they removed the Aluminium black because it looked too similar to the Titanium
From a distance it maybe does to a certain extent… but owning an SBTi and having owned SG Alu, I can assure you it doesn’t even come close when you hold it in your hands

Yeah, I’ve seen this perspective from a few comments. I’ve never owned an Apple Watch, but I’d like to buy the Series 7 SB Titanium though

It looks suuuper champagne with Summit White sport loop. (Screenshot from keynote)

I wonder if that’s what Lauren is wearing in the presentation. Or maybe her Maize band is just reflecting off it and giving a yellowish tinge. It looks too matte to be the gold stainless.

I have a feeling that S7 might not come out in October… Maybe November. Strange they didn’t even give a date. At least for the delays with the 12 Pro Max last year, they gave an exact date.

Sold my S6 last week so I just got a Nike SE to tie me over til S7 is released.
