Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

OHHH! I definitely did not think that doing the Watch Studio would result in In Store pick up as I thought they were all custom ordered.
Appreciate the heads up on the combo, have one set up for Friday! Even though I'm not a fan of the starlight band.
Glad I could help (really just repeating what someone above said, which helped me). You may have luck with other bands too. My observation is the sport bands have availability throughout the country, but sport loop does not.

My watch has departed from Japan.

Europe or US?
In most of europe, local fulfilment centres handle the final delivery, and so when I order in UK, for launch day it normally dispatches thursday for delivery friday.
I know that but still keep checking 😜🤷🏻‍♀️

Question for some with multiple orders: Can you have the same AW on trade-in on two separate orders at the same time?

Why I'm asking - I'm considering starting a new order for a SS for in store pickup (still avail on 10/15) - but I already have my Al S6 Cellular order "Processing" with the Apple Store with my trade-in tied to it. So, if anyone has swapped orders, were you able to put a trade-in for the same watch on two different orders; or did you cancel your first order w/ Trade-in and make the new one? Just trying to make sure I have a good order for the SS with Trade-in if/before I jump ship on the Al version. Thanks!

It’s pretty much confirmed but anything is possible. There are reports everywhere.

I googled it after I asked. Not sure how I missed this one. lol.

Replying to self: looks like you have to return the watch and band then re-buy (is that a word?) the watch and new strap...there's another post that explains that something that comes from the "Your Style" section is bundled as a single SKU, so you (meaning me) probably can't break up the set, and if they don't have the watch you wanted in stock at the store, your choices are probably keep the watch with the strap you wanted to return/exchange, or return both but then basically go back to the end of the line waiting for the combination you wanted to become available. There's a good thread on this here.

I was wondering about the ability to return or exchange a strap that came as part of a watch/strap combo ordered under the "Your Style" section. In other words, a combination that's not on the store site as a regular configuration. (Example: the SS watches that are currently being sold for delivery on Friday with sport bands, which is not a regular configuration.)

It looks like if you purchased online (as we all did, that's the only way to purchase a watch before launch day) you probably won't be able to get the store to accept a "return" on the bundled band and exchange it for one you like better. But there's no penalty for asking. ;)
Yeah I actually called into apple this morning and they confirmed as well that I could swap the band out when I pickup the watch…same as I confirmed last night via a text message convo with apple. I hope they don’t give me a hard time at the store lol

I did also but when we get the 7 how will the backup work when not on the same os
I updated my IOS for my iphone and my watch. I have to for security reasons for my job. They require that my iphone be updated to the latest software so i just update my watch also.

I don’t understand why you would not want to update your watch software.
