Yay! Who’s ready to order the new Apple Watch this Friday???
Me!!!! my S6 battery health is now down to 84%, hoping Apple will have some nice trade in $$
Hopefully the bands itself doesn’t delay the AW like last year. I hope Apple have them in stock.
Are there many new ones this year? I know last year the solo loop/braided was the big thing, esp the braided that delayed shipping.
Last year I pre-setup 2 orders, one with the band I wanted and one with the default band and a separate band order....just to see which one would ship one time.

My AW S6 is down to 85% as well. By next year in October it will definitely go below 80%. I think Apple is offering new bands this year. Hopefully they have plenty of them in stock.

Hmmm after a year of use my AW S6 battery health is only down to 98%. I wear it every day and do work outs/ walks and hikes with it. I always wondered how wildly different everyone's battery percentage. I guess I need to get on everyone else level and use my watch even more. Then I can make a reasonable excuse to maybe upgrade lol.

:) My S6 (Ti) is 84%, here is the typical use.

Charge to 100% prior to going to bed.
Wake up, 30 min walking workout, listening to ESPN usually via cellular and AirPods
Go to work, do another 30 min in the afternoon, same usage.

By the time 9pm rolls around there is about 10% left....recharge, repeat.

So nothing really intensive where I would need recharges throughout the day. Just that the amount of charge left by 9pm is getting less and less...

Gotcha. I charge my S6 (44MM GPS + Cellular) typically every other day. I go to work and my watch has gone from 100 to like 85-87% by 5PM. Then I go work out (sometimes after work) and leave my watch off charge over night. The next day the battery has like at 60-55 % and lasts the whole work day and some post work work outs. Then I charge again over night (repeat). I only use cellular for quick trips to the store and stuff like that.

I'm getting excited already! I hope they open up the watch gallery before Friday so that I can compare the different color and band combinations before I have to frantically click the buy button at 5AM 🤣.
I hope so too. I have a feeling they will. The AW page will be updated throughout this week so people can decide what model, color they want.

My AW5 is at 83% and was at 88% about a year ago. So yes yours seemed to have dropped quite a bit this past year. I use the Exercise app daily and that tends to burn up my battery but over all not doing too bad for battery life.

Mine is down to 89% which is honestly a bit better than I expected since I use it both for exercise and sleep tracking. I generally charge it in the morning for about 15-20 minutes while I'm getting ready. Then let it do a full charge before bed each night.

I was planning to go for s7 AW; but my s6 had a issue 20 days ago and has been replaced from Apple under warranty. Now with the battery health at 100%, and given the minor upgrades that s7 offer, I think that I'll give it a pass....

Maybe I'll go for a loop band...
