Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

Don’t know if you ever got into the Mothership’s Apple Store - I have been to 1 Inifinite Loop a few times when I visited friends in San Jose. My buddy worked there, so it was a serious treat to eat on campus at the Mac Cafe. Anyways, got a cool S’well bottle and nice Japansee ceramic mug from their store…I was going to make a joke as the mug may have been the same one Steve Jobs was holding in that picture you posted with him and Tim Cook. Would be awesome to go to the new Spaceship nowadays! View attachment 1873751
Wow! That’s a cool story. Love it. I hope one day you get to visit the spaceship. I’m pretty sure you have friends working in there. Ha! You remember the picture? It’s a classic. @julit0

Try wearing the same band as your aluminium and check the haptics settings. Never heard that SS haptics are weaker than AL.

Unless you got a lemon 🍋

Drop by an Apple store if it's open?
How come I don’t have this problem with my titanium Watch?

Same with all the bands, pretty sure it’s because of the thicker stainless steel. I’ll test some stainless steel models out, once stores are allowing walk ins.

Match made in heaven. 😍

Anyone else who upgraded from a aluminum model to a stainless steel model, noticing that the haptics are weaker on the stainless steel model? 🥺
yep. I noticed as well and saw a thread where people were discussing it as well. Im OK, with that. the auto bright feature is horrible and is really pissing me off. unable to barely see my display in a dark room is unacceptable!! .

Looks like Tim Apple is cutting cost on stronger haptic engines, call them up and demand 10 free watch bands. 🤔😂

I upgraded from an aluminium to a stainless steel apple watch and I’ve noticed too the haptic force difference. Not a dealbreaker but I wish I could increase the haptics

That's weird. Maybe you're not used to wearing the heavier SS. I've been using SS since S3 so I'm used to the weight and feedback. Definitely shouldn't be any weaker than AL though.

LFC, take a page from Nike’s book and, just do it. Haha.
And yes! I’m excited for the Milanese loop! Still wish they made it in space black like back in my S0 days but graphite should hopefully match just as well as the old SB color.
They arrive tomorrow with my watch!
gonna be a long 24 hour wait 🥴

I also bought 2 polishing cloths haha 👀

Wow! You are going to love the Milanese loop band. It’s my all time favorite. It feels exclusive and premium. I have the other band too. Dang! You pulled the trigger real fast. Not like @LFC2020, he’s over here analyzing, inspecting everything little thing.

It’s annoying because I absolutely love the premium finish of the stainless steel on apple watch. I would be okay to sacrifice a little more battery life in exchange of more powerful haptics, but I guess the actual haptics engine is already at its maximum
For now at least. Since I’ve always had SS models, I am used to the feedback. As Apple continues to improve the AW, hopefully they can integrate a stronger haptics engine.
