Think I’m gonna go for starlight this year. Had the blue version for S6 but realised quite a few bands just don’t go well together. At least with starlight, I can mix and match whenever.

I always thought the ordering time for Oz was in sync with everyone else …… it’s only deliveries that are ahead.
Certainly hoping it’s positive news and a step in the right direction! What a truly bizarre launch process this has been so far. It’s ironic that it overlapped the milestone anniversary of Jobs’ death because I feel like something like this would have him throwing Macbooks (and maybe staff) through third-floor windows. Such terrible execution and so “un-Apple” IMO.
Yeah I had the blue S6 and while it was super pretty I realized the same thing haha. I’m debating between starlight and midnight this time around 🤔
I'd be happy with a small little square package....just the watch....no band....that would make the ordering process easy
Midnight will probably be the same as the blue S6. You’ll be limited to dark straps imo. I do like the look of the blue and green, but again, nothing will go with it. I was so tempted to just order all the colours and return the ones I didn’t like but that’s just gonna be ridiculous from me taking much needed stock away from those who want it.
I wish they‘d do that too. I haven’t really cared for most of the bands in the last two seasons, I prefer the bands I already have. As for color, I badmouthed Starlight earlier because I think it looks bad in the renders, and ordered a discounted gold aluminum AW6 from Amazon. But after seeing the Starlight phone in person, I cancelled my Amazon order and am looking forward to seeing what the Starlight watch looks like. If Starlight doesn’t grab me I’m also interested to see the blue AW7.
This. I have 7 years of bands to choose from. I wish I could just order a watch itself and save the money.
We'll see what happens tomorrow. I had hoped to configure exactly what I wanted and add it to favorites in the Apple Store app so I can just click and go on Friday morning at 5am. :/

Yeah. I’m still hoping we see something tonight or tomorrow - otherwise Friday morning will be rough.
Considering how things have gone so far for the S7 I’m starting to worry about how shipping and delivery will go 😅
Yeah I was really hoping for the same thing. At this rate I’ll probably just settle for whichever configuration still has a ship date sometime in 2021 by the time the store comes up 😂

SS Gold for me too but really want the Dark Cherry Leather rather than the sport band. I am really hoping we have the option at check out to change.
If the Dexcom G7 really can be read directly in AW vs reading from my iPhone I will definitely get my first AW (assuming my insurance lets be get the G7 when it comes out in the US). Having to always have my phone handy so my Fitbit can display my BG via Glance is a real #firstworldproblem PITA. I had to adjust the Stale Data timeout so I can wander away from my phone for more than 5 mins at a time.
Hermès.com's Apple Watch page is down so I guess we'll see something soon?
