Why can’t we do store pickups for custom orders. 🤨 @Boardiesboi i refuse to let aus post deliver my watch.

Why doesn't Apple, once and for all, separate the case from the band? A lot of people have bands they use already and would buy just the new case. Watches are held up more because of the bands than the actual case. It's ridiculous.
It’s the same in the U.S. I don’t know why but it appears as if they discontinued it, hopefully it’s just extremely out of stock to the point that they may not know when they can get more. I doubt they would discontinue such a basic but popular color but Apple has done stranger things. I now think this may be the reason why my preorder (45mm Graphite SS with black solo loop) was/is so weird with shipping dates. If I had known this would be an issue I would have just stuck with the blue band it has preconfigured on the site.
Yeah setting up before with preapproval and such is so much better. I got same date as you but when i started had 10/15 listed for my choice. But since my wallet card — a visa check/atm card was put in old status on my 13 ProMax after update from12 (and I did not know that) I had to go on phone and fix that and after figuring out I lost a few minutes or so and was moved to 10/26 to 10/28 like your date. Such is life LOL
I 100% agree, it’s way past time they did this. The only two somewhat logical reasons I can figure out for this are 1. Apple wants their watches to be as similar to “traditional” watches in craftsmanship, quality, design, experience, etc. and most if not all “traditional” watches come with a band often designed specifically for that model. 2. They don’t want someone buying a watch and complaining because they can’t wear it because it didn’t come with a band even though this could easily be avoided. I think they should sell the Watch by itself only on their website (and you have to acknowledge that you understand you’re only getting the Watch and no band) unless there’s huge demand through other retailers. It would definitely help their environmental goals as well.
Purchased my series 6 from apple for $649, they’re offering me $220 trade in, then they’re reselling it for 👇 making a killing. 😂
I chose the white solo loop, maybe not to many people picked this combination.
Hm did not see this in choices of aluminum starlight 45 mm watches when I got in but I did not see way to customize either. I guess I missed it?
I double checked my order when you posted this, and it does say white solo loop 45mm aluminum gps. I see it’s not an option for colors now. Strange!
Something tells me the excitement for tracking the watch my not be in par with the iPhone tracking lol
Me too. I wanted the 1TB phone badly and got it on release day. My black Titanium 45mm watch though. Eh. Its Nov 2-9, and I am not fretting about it.
Just went to Studio and looked at my finish with all the bands - I’m really happy with it, should go with practically everything!

Amazing, thanks! I just checked Walmart now 15 hours after pre-order opened and they had 2 45mm Silver SS S7s left for Monday 10/18 delivery. Now they have only 1. Looks like I won’t have to wait until Nov. 1 - 8 for Apple to ship!

I ordered at 11.01pm and probably made one too many clicks (I browsed through the full offering before adding the one I’ve wanted before preorder. The earliest date I got was Oct 21 and this was for a the 45mm Hermes. No option or pick up in store at all.
I checked out a few standard configurations available for pick up on Oct 15 but that all quickly disappeared within 10 mins.
I still think they will release stock for pick up next Friday. Just check at 6am or 8am and try your luck!
I’m not buying, but the 45mm silver stainless steel model & clover green solo loop has caught my attention. 👀⌚️😬

I’m in love with this combo. Looks so legit. I think I’ll take my SBTi into the Apple Store and see how it looks with that S. Green leather loop.
I dislike Prosser the Tosser with a passion. He doesn’t even have the watch yet and makes all these random claims.
