Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

I'm wondering if anyone else here has had a similar situation to me: Ordered Series 7 45mm Graphite Stainless Steel Case with Black Solo Loop with confirmation email at 8:11AM eastern saying it ships within 2-3 weeks by standard delivery. Currently if you try to order the same watch the shipping estimate is 30 days. My order status online says my watch won't ship until JANUARY!?! Has anyone else seen something like this with this pre order or any other Apple preorder in recent memory? Chat support first agent said they couldn't see the order other than the order number, second one told me to wait until later today. Phone support automated order status identified the watch as a series 6 🙄 and the person I talked to also said to wait until later today. I love Apple but especially this year I can't help but feel like they should be able to better control/manage all of the pre orders as they have been doing this for years/decades at this point. My iPhone 13 preorder actually went very smoothly and phones sell at higher volumes and require more information/work with carrier account communication and whatnot. Hoping this gets resolved quickly.

Sadly this type of thing happens with Apple, last year there were weird changes when I ordered the 12 Pro & MagSafe wallet. My wallet color switched in order status from brown to black and then back to my ordered brown but it was a little delayed.
Most of the time the glitches get fixed with no change unless it was a glitch from the beginning a late order shipping for launch day. Hope it works out for you.
 
For "sports" or casual bands, I prefer the after-market ones from Amazon. Great (and similar) products for $10 or less. I've purchased $49 and up Apple Bands and they just don't seem to be worth it.

Everyone hates on Prosser, he was right on the pre-order date, but yes he was wrong on the design of the S7. Although his source may have been right, but Apple couldn’t make it work. This explains why this year was such a sh$t show with the delayed launch & limited supply.
Prosser’s track record is mixed, he’s no Mark Gurman of Bloomberg or Ming-Chi Kuo. 😀

Im doing trade in and picking up S7 in person. On the order page it says that Apple will mail my trade in kit. Can I just complete trade in process during my S7 pickup in person or it has to be mail in?

Some apple stores around the world aren’t allowing trade ins in store, like my apple store, due to restrictions. 😁🙄🤦‍♂️😂

Apple will always end up making money lol whether it’s either by selling products themselves or by selling consumers owned products. They are genius!

These leakers got so much wrong with the last apple event, there is still a chance for 120hz.

Tim Cook when you wake up at 3am and read your emails and this message, I ain’t playing games anymore, recall all them M1X MacBook Pros and make sure they ship with 120hz, or 👇😁😂

Also be nice if Tim Cook gave us some free gifts with our orders every now and then, nespresso gave me a free water bottle & and coffee capsules 😁 come on Tim, throw in a free watch band, they only cost you 5 cents. 😂

They gave you free iPhone 12 Pro Max cases though lol. Then cases ain’t cheap.

I’m really confused why all of the combinations with the Dark Cherry leather link show as unavailable when I can go to a store tomorrow and pick up the band. Not that it’s that big of a deal, but just interesting.

The shipment from Apple store comes directly from the warehouse. It has nothing to do with Apple store.

I just cancelled my midnight 45mm with midnight sport band pick up at South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA and it's available for October 15 pickup. I was able to order with the band I wanted using the studio a couple minutes later for launch day pickup.

Hope someone here snags it!
