Also got a Preparing to ship, but my date is 19-21, is it really going to take ten days to get to me or might it be a little sooner I wonder. 🤔
If it’s gone preparing this early i think you have a good chance of getting earlier. Perhaps even the 15th.
Not always the case, my case went into preparing instantly, didn’t get it for 34 days. 😬😂

I am planning to buy my first apple watch. I am moving from fitbit world to Apple dimension. I am little confuse on which strip is better among Braided solo loop, Sport band, Sport loop. Does solo loop become lose after sometimes ? Does sport loop gets bad after long period of use. does sport band get too hot at higher temperature? I checked online reviews and answers varies. Also I lives in Singapore which is hot and humid 365 days. So anyone who has used all 3 types and can advice on this

I really like sport loop. I wear it swimming and it easily dries. Sport band can get a little sweaty, I don’t use normally during our hot weather. Have not used braided or solo loop.
Agree, one of the comfiest bands I’ve got, even comfier than my solo loop, also wear mine during summer. 👌
Oh god I just woke up thinking if I did it right… I dreamt about the Ti version, lighter and mate… so I checked and there was still a unit to pick up next Friday! so I bought it too! Almost one day later 😂😁

I managed to build a few favorite combos in the Studio and checking which are available for next week at launching, they all are! Now, how do I decide on the band? Braided solo loop and solo loop - would I need to get a smaller size than measured with Apple’s measuring tool? I’ve watched a few videos on Ytube and they were saying the size measured with Apple’s tool was too large and they had to exchange for one or even two sizes smaller. Is this accurate, in your experience? I’d love to see them in the stores first but am afraid I might not find any available next week if I won’t order (and pay for it) now. Any feedback os welcome.

I don’t think ‘Preparing to ship’ means a great deal if I’m honest. Granted it may have moved ‘along’ somehow, but mine moved to ‘preparing’ pretty quickly yesterday, yet no money taken as yet, still pending, and my delivery date is 19-21.
Just called Apple (I'm in Germany) and asked if I could upgrade my shipping to express for my Hermes 7 which shows arrival between Oct. 19 and Oct. 21. They told me it's not possible anymore because it's already preparing for shipping and according to their data will arrive between Oct. 15 and Oct. 18. I've had this with my Hermes series 6 too. It arrived a week earlier than predicted. Seems like all the edition watches showed a later date yesterday but are meant to be arriving on launch day too.
graphite stainless steel & black titanium is available 😁 Agree, it’s a crap move by apple not offering silver and black in the aluminium models, also no black solo loop. 🤦♂️ What the hell are you thinking Tim Apple. 🤬🤬🤬
this is your only option if you want black.
Be carful with the solo loop, I started off with a size 7, found it way too tight, went up to a size 8, was perfect, it’s gotten a tad loose, won’t read my heart rate or measure blood oxygen levels, says the watch isn’t tight enough lol.
Prefer it a bit looser, don’t like a snug fit.very comfy band as well.
Go one size smaller if you like a tight fit, they stretch out a bit over time.
