Love that colour combo. 👍

People from UK looks like Curry’s PC World have made an error with pricing. £399 for Series 7 Aluminium 45mm GPS & Cellular. All colours available for launch day. Just ordered one in Midnight.

Ughhhh I’ve been agonizing over whether or not I made the right choice

got a product red 45mm with red braided loop (Oct 15 delivery) and now I’m thinking of cancelling that and going with a 45mm silver SS with dark cherry solo loop but that’s a Nov 3-10 and not in my local stores.
Ughhhhh lol

I think they’ve just messed up with the product naming. If you look at the specs they only list wifi and Bluetooth connectivity and filtering the products on cellular only displays the correct pricing.

Unfortunately I just went on curry’s website and searched it up and it appears as they made a mistake in a title not the price.

it says cellular in some of them for £399 but if you go into specification it says it’s a wi-fi model and no cellular is mentioned

I buy an AW every 2 to 3 years, I have the 4 now, I’m looking forward to the always on Display!
I see no point in annual upgrades as they are always small upgrades.

I’m also glad they didn’t do the flat look that was rumored. It looked a bit childish. This rounded look is more mature.
We are replacing a pair of S4 as well and also glad it doesn’t look like the rumored design.

Almost upgraded a year ago but decided to skip it when they locked SB behind Hermes.

Well that’s disappointing. I was too busy trying to purchase I never bothered to look at the small print.

I managed to build a few favorite combos in the Studio and checking which are available for next week at launching, they all are! Now, how do I decide on the band? Braided solo loop and solo loop - would I need to get a smaller size than measured with Apple’s measuring tool? I’ve watched a few videos on Ytube and they were saying the size measured with Apple’s tool was too large and they had to exchange for one or even two sizes smaller. Is this accurate, in your experience? I’d love to see them in the stores first but am afraid I might not find any available next week if I won’t order (and pay for it) now. Any feedback os welcome.
The measurement tool gave me the perfect size. Be sure to pull it snug to your wrist - if it's loose, you'll end up with a band that's too big.

Since I was not thrilled with this AW Roll Out and at best Apple is telling me I will receive the SS Gold sometime the first week in November I decided to start searching other places like many others have. It ends up I can get in about 10 days earlier from Best Buy but since a few months ago I purchased a new PC from them I had a 10% discount I needed to use by Oct 16th, well that saved me $70 which is what Apple was giving me for trade in on my SS AW3 plus I had another $10 coupon on my Best Buy Card now that is saving me $80. Then if I chose to not have this in payments (would rather just pay this off) I get 5% back for credit on a future purchase of which they have the Leather Loop band in cherry so I would take $30.00 off. Now I still have my Series 3 that I was trading in and going to give it to a very good friend who was considering she might like a AW. So I get the watch faster, saving more money and making a friend happy :D

For those who tracking flight ( like the iPhone order ) , those Watch factory warehouse located near by Noi Bai Airport - HAN - , and I dont know what carrier Apple will use for those Watch , but after checked departured board at HAN , I saw some CargoLux aircraft ( Boeing 747 ) will depart tomorrow from HAN and destination will be HongKong ( HKG )

Maybe our watch from Vietname will fly on those ??

My vote would be to cancel the red and order the SS. Two reasons - the red is so limiting to what bands you can wear with it, and the SS just feels so premium...it's a world apart from the Aluminum. Highly recommend the SS, it's absolutely worth the wait.

Noticeable on laptops?

Actually, it's pretty smooth. Not like it would be on a large screen monitor, but it is noticeable in many situations, like Microsoft Flight Simulator. But I usually have it hooked to a 120 Hz widescreen Samsung Thunderbolt monitor anyways.

I agree! You can match SS to any band and any outfit, red one not so much

You hit an in the park home run.

Anyone else got an aluminium launch day AW7 booked in advance of their titanium preference arriving in mid November? 😳😳😳

90% of the titanium models are delayed this year. Expected arrival date is 1st or 2nd week of November for most. I guess it’s a harder metal to work around with, possibly low in demand since it’s a premium higher end model.

Yeah I sold my AW6 (before price drops) in anticipation of being on at 1pm sharp in the UK. I was prepared for a couple of weeks, didn't expect to be 4-6 weeks even with completed order & confirmation email at 1:03pm :(

Don’t feel too bad. The titanium and stainless steel models were already set to be delayed at first. Apple focused on the aluminum models the most since that’s a cheaper and popular model. It is set by waves. They are focusing on selling the cheaper model first.

There was some slippage though, as a lot of us got initial Oct 25th-ish dates, but it dropped to Nov 2-9 by checkout.

I do feel very un-green though - when I get the titanium model, I have a plan to either give the ally one to my sister in law for christmas, or sell and the proceeds to charity.

Assuming they made a choice rather than being forced by production, they did get the balance wrong though, there are still nike models available for collection on launch day. It is what it is, apple can't get it perfect, I can't criticise them on that side. The "watch vs straps" selections on the other hand, I feel they got that very wrong.
