Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

Just cancelled my preorder due to the fact that I forgot to add my SE for trade-in.
I’m going to wait the release date and hope that there will be some graphite SS to pick up in a Parisian Apple Store
 
There could well be, I have a suspicion there may be some available, if not friday, then saturday/sunday. They want the queues to form, so they need to provide crumbs to ensure people queue in hope

Yes very likely.

I for the fun of it did the custom route so I could see dates for watch I am getting if I ordered now (below in screen dump) and now to get that exact config (I am putting a my favorite stainless mess band on it). It would take til second week of November now. So even the aluminum are slipping in general (I tried different bands in custom and found similar dates a weeke or so on either side of second week of November for my 45 mm aluminum. So even those are sold out now and new ones have to be built now.

Thanks for the feedback. I think you’re right. I’m going to pair the stainless steel with this amazing shell cordovan color #8 band I have. Will basically look like this except for a silver SS instead of gold SS lol. My s6 will keep me company while I wait lol. I appreciate the gentle nudge to do what I know I really should be doing :)

Why didn’t you just start an Apple Trade-in on your SE on your own? You can initiate one any time. Maybe You would have gotten an Apple Gift card instead of a refund on your S7 purchase, but you would still have gotten your money back - just a different form. I guess it’s water under the bridge at this point.

If you had done store pickup and traded the SE in store even without adding it in preorder , the Apple store guy would have applied the trade in amount to the original cost.

Me. Midnight aluminium 45mm with launch day delivery, space black titanium for mid November.
Had Space Grey aluminium series 0 and 4, not entirely sure if I’ll be happy with Midnight, so for the first time considering the more expensive model (we’ll played, Tim )…
14 days to initiate return, another 14 to send it back, so if the titanium arrives at the start of the window (10th), should have a day or two to make a final decision.
In all fairness, I think after a week with Midnight I’ll hopefully know if it’s a keeper or not

Stainless steels are sold in many stores, so it's possible that stores will get occasional restocks. I've bought many Apple items that I missed on release date at a store within that week or so.

But for the Titanium, those are harder to come by at a store. Only the biggest (e.g. NYC, Los Angeles, London) get them in store. The rest of us lowly commoners have to go online.

Question about the nike watch, ive always had the normal ones.

Are they exactly the same as normal ones apart from bands and additional faces / app?

Do they also include all the standard faces which the standard watch’s do too? I assume the straps are as good as the apple sport ones for running / swimming etc

In other words, I guess I’m not losing anything atall just gaining features?

I think I saw it somewhere, but which watch did you end up ordering? TI? I got 45mm SS silver with lavender solo loop. This will be my first SS watch. I have Nov 2-9 delivery... hoping that might move up a week or so.

On release day, I meant.
 
So I’ve ordered the Nike edition starlight for release day collection. I’ve just seen that there’s a stainless steel cellular 45mm available for collection as well, I’ve never owned SS having always opted for aluminium but is it worth the extra £300?

I’ve owned regular aluminum, Nike and stainless steel and honestly I think it’s worth the extra quid for a SS version. I actually just changed my mind and went from an aluminum s7 to SS because my pre-order day decision was eating at me lol
