Apple Watch Ultra ordered thread!

Ordered the alpine orange ultra. Due Oct 11th week. Paused a bit but whatever. Soon enough and just upgrading the AW Series 5.
 
Midnight Ocean. Only because of slim pickings for pre orders as I waited to late. Guess I am a diver now?!?! 😆🤡🤪 I will get another band when they are more readily available.

To clarify, Midnight cases are also blue tinted if you compare in bright light. Apple’s Midnight is not the same as Apple’s Black. That said, Apple also can be inconsistent with their color shades (Gold, Space Grey, etc vary wildly).

I just ordered ultra with the white alpine loop. Didn’t order right away, debating, but the battery life sold me. I won’t receive until October, but that’s ok. Phone will be in my hands on 16th!

That darn Verizon. It‘s been several days since I ordered and my order still does not show in my online account. I did receive order and receipt via email but my online account does not reflect my order. The same thing happened 2 years ago when I ordered something from Verizon. I see they have not fixed their software. Two years ago my order didn’t show until it shipped. However, it did ship on time. In fact, it shipped a little early. Hopefully the same will happen this year.
 
I ordered a regular SS Apple Watch 8. Moving from a series 4. However, the more I think about it, the more I am thinking about the Ultra. I am, by no means, an extreme user. But, an Ultra watch is only $50 more expensive than a SS AW8. And it is way more feature rich - it just seems like the best bang for the buck. I would be way late on delivery at this point, but the more I sit and think about my decision, the more I really feel like I may switch. Thinking about the black trail loop.

My only wish is that the Titanum had a dark color.

Anyone noticed movement from China ? My delivey is oct3-10. I hope it gets here on the launch dsay

lol same here! I wanted the orange alpine, but the yellow ocean was available sooner. I already placed an order for a replacement band!
 
I have ordered the Ultra Apple Watch with the green alpine loop.
Is the alpine loop suitable for surfing or swimming?
The sport loop was fine for this, but just wondering if I will need to order an Ocean band as well.
 
It’s odd that the trail loop appears to have immediately pushed out to late deliveries, while the two other bands have been widely available. I’m starting to wonder whether they had to make late changes to the band, meaning none are available for launch day.

Ultra Green Alpine Loop, delivery Oct 10-17. Can’t wait! Jumping from Series 6.

So I ordered the Ultra with Trail Loop Blue and Grey on iPhone preorder day and got a delivery window of October 24-31st, do we think there will be a possibility it will ship sooner than that?

I'm wondering what the delay was for that band? Will there be a chance I could change from delivery to instore pickup if my local apple store had availability?

I would say definitely yes. Apple tend to underpromise and overdeliver. I think you’ll find that that date will come forward by about seven to ten days

Crossing my fingers for this, I am coming back to Apple after being with Android for the past 6 years and this will be my first Apple Watch so I'm looking forward to it. I left Apple prior to the first Apple Watch so I really can't wait.

I also have to upgrade my Verizon plan so I hope it comes sooner so I don't have to make multiple trips to Verizon
