I was actually being sarcastic! 😆 I done the same thing but, with Midnight just to get the watch launch day. Everything picked over and back ordered now for launch day. Certainly no diver here… 😆🤪

Not to many people are ordering the Ocean midnight band, to me is the most obvious because water sports, pool. Beach, shower… After inventory gets better, I’ll order a trail one.

Lol I’ll likely give it a shot now that I have the watch and band to boot! Yeah when looking at the bands a lot of the other ones were way out into December but not this one—and I got to use Verizon’s smartwatch150 code to knock $150 off too so I couldn’t resist!

I guess everybody buying this including myself is getting AppleCare immediately. The repair costs 500 is insane

Yes but first time ever - monthly instalment... I expect to only use this a year... I'll upgrade to next year's model... I can already tell lol... So not going to pay for 2 years up front.

Speaking of bands, If any of y’all are willing to trade I’ll be having a fantastic new in box yellow ocean band on the 23rd… I’ll take the midnight one off of y’all if it’s available:)

Just ordered with the yellow ocean band and it’ll be here on the 23rd. Cancelled the 45mm Nike watch. That ultra is just too enticing

Finally decided to order. Love the new design but will have to see how it goes on my medium sized wrist. Going by the videos I've seen so far it should be OK. I realise it's a big watch.

I just ordered my via T-mobile hopefully they accept the order as it leans on a loan based subscription.

I did a lot of thinking for me the double battery life is a big factor as i want to run LTE standalone again. My iphone gives too many distractions and result in negative behaviour lol.

I hate social media and internet surfing addiction. It worked on my AW4 but i moved continent and no longer had LTE for the longest time, my AW4 is perfectly fine after 4 years, it is now time to let it motivate my oldest son to become more active.

I also think the Ultra 1 is discount from Apple if i compare prices to a regular AW8 with LTE, i bet the next Ultra 2 instalment will have a price hike. (again/european here)

Placed an order last week. Ordered a couple of cheap sporty ultra wide bands on Amazon to go with this chunky piece of tech.

So I was thinking about why Apple let us pre-order right away but then wouldn’t ship the watches for a week after the iPhones. Anyone have any ideas as to why they would do that? I keep hoping (in vain) that all of a sudden they will decide to ship them early.

Because they don't want to overwhelm the distribution system with iPhones, watches and Airpods all delivering in the same week.
