My receipt date for the Ultra with black ocean band has been moved to Sept. 30 - Oct. 7. :(
No explanation? You just checked and it was different? Either way, I’m really sorry. Maybe a local store will have one on release day if you don’t want to wait.

Hey all! What do you use for chargers/stands? For a long time I've used the Apple Watch puck and a little stand that looks like an iMac, but the ultra won't fit in it. I went out and bought the Belkin Boost Charge Pro Portable Fast Charger for Apple Watch (long-ass name), but it doesn't seem to charge my watch as quickly, and I haven't had great luck with Belkin in the past (this was years ago, so maybe they've gotten better). I am thinking about returning it for a stand or another charger brand if you guys have any suggestions.

Thanks in advance :D
I planning to get this stand, it should charge all of my devices on my bedside table, this should also free up some space so I don't have so many cords plugged in

Well keep in mind it isn’t listed as a compatible product with the Ultra, meaning it won’t charge it at the fastest rate. Just chatted with Apple and found out that, in order to do this, you need to have the 35W power brick. And because the stand you showed has its own AC adaptor, I’m guessing it doesn’t pump enough power to the charger to best utilize the fast charging. It will still charge it, just not as quickly as you might think.

You only ordered it last night right?

Either way you must have been right on the cusp of shipment allotment and got pushed... hopefully it swings back for you to the week sooner! Good luck!

We will see on that, if the Ultra uses the same cable as the AW8 then that wouldn't matter should all charge the same

Where do you see the s7 SS for $549? I can’t seem to find this anywhere.
Refurbished site. Only graphite models at the moment.

If you don’t trust apple refurbished, just watch Amazon or Best Buy for a while. They were as low as 519 a couple weeks back.

Someone's ship date will get moved up - and they will thank you :)
I think within the five days preceding September 23, there will be a lot of folks that make a last minute decision to cancel the ultra and purchase the eight. This could be for budget reasons and/or size reasons. I expect many late deliveries to bump up because of this. I think a lot of people have placeholders for orders for the Apple Watch ultra with intentions to cancel at the last minute, but didn’t want to be left out.

The new braided cable may just be for rugged reliability and aesthetics, or may potentially increase the amperage needed for the Apple Watch ultra.

This would be nice. I’m in the 9/30-10/7 group. Ordered Medium Green Alpine Loop.

I’m unlucky. Ordered late morning on launch day with a 10/20-10/27 date range. Went with the Med/Lg Black/Gray Tail Loop. Maybe by some miracle my date will get pushed up closer to launch.

I do Not need this watch, I did NOT preorder when it was announced. BUT... I am weak and pre-ordered it today... *shame* (excited)
No shame in that at all, it's an exiting time for Apple Watches, this from someone who is getting their first because the last time they had an iPhone Apple Watches didn't exist yer

I am considering cancelling my order due to having doubts on AWU working for hiking and running (link to analysis on battery life, offline maps, etc.)
I’ve been on the fence about buying a Garmin, but my problem is is that the Apple Watch does so much more, and the Garmin are just too expensive. With the Apple Watch ultras advancements I am more inclined for the ultra so that way I will have a single device on my wrist instead of multiple watches. If I was off the grid for longer periods of time, that would change my decision because of the battery life.

Getting my green alpine on the 23rd. I will be looking for one with a trail loop to pick up if I can. That’s my preferred band!
