Ooooo some lucky people got in quick! Didn’t know that. Over here (UK) I ordered immediately and Trail was gone already 😡They were all available for launch day. Trail went out first...almost instantly.
No explanation? You just checked and it was different? Either way, I’m really sorry. Maybe a local store will have one on release day if you don’t want to wait.My receipt date for the Ultra with black ocean band has been moved to Sept. 30 - Oct. 7.
I planning to get this stand, it should charge all of my devices on my bedside table, this should also free up some space so I don't have so many cords plugged inHey all! What do you use for chargers/stands? For a long time I've used the Apple Watch puck and a little stand that looks like an iMac, but the ultra won't fit in it. I went out and bought the Belkin Boost Charge Pro Portable Fast Charger for Apple Watch (long-ass name), but it doesn't seem to charge my watch as quickly, and I haven't had great luck with Belkin in the past (this was years ago, so maybe they've gotten better). I am thinking about returning it for a stand or another charger brand if you guys have any suggestions.
Thanks in advance

Well keep in mind it isn’t listed as a compatible product with the Ultra, meaning it won’t charge it at the fastest rate. Just chatted with Apple and found out that, in order to do this, you need to have the 35W power brick. And because the stand you showed has its own AC adaptor, I’m guessing it doesn’t pump enough power to the charger to best utilize the fast charging. It will still charge it, just not as quickly as you might think.I planning to get this stand, it should charge all of my devices on my bedside table, this should also free up some space so I don't have so many cords plugged in

Not sure if you meant to reply to me. That’s essentially what I was asking the OP of the commentFrom launch day?
You only ordered it last night right? My receipt date for the Ultra with black ocean band has been moved to Sept. 30 - Oct. 7.
Someone's ship date will get moved up - and they will thank youCancelled my Ultra order and instead put in an order for the AW8.
Cancelled my Ultra order and instead put in an order for the AW8.
Was that a change of mind. My Ultra is due on the 23rd but I’ve just ordered a S8 in case I don’t like the Ultra
We will see on that, if the Ultra uses the same cable as the AW8 then that wouldn't matter should all charge the sameWell keep in mind it isn’t listed as a compatible product with the Ultra, meaning it won’t charge it at the fastest rate. Refurbished site. Only graphite models at the moment.Where do you see the s7 SS for $549? I can’t seem to find this anywhere.
I think within the five days preceding September 23, there will be a lot of folks that make a last minute decision to cancel the ultra and purchase the eight. This could be for budget reasons and/or size reasons. I expect many late deliveries to bump up because of this. I think a lot of people have placeholders for orders for the Apple Watch ultra with intentions to cancel at the last minute, but didn’t want to be left out.Someone's ship date will get moved up - and they will thank you
The new braided cable may just be for rugged reliability and aesthetics, or may potentially increase the amperage needed for the Apple Watch ultra. We will see on that, if the Ultra uses the same cable as the AW8 then that wouldn't matter should all charge the same
This would be nice. I’m in the 9/30-10/7 group. No shame in that at all, my friend! It looks like it's going to be an amazing product!I do Not need this watch, I did NOT preorder when it was announced. BUT... I am weak and pre-ordered it today... *shame* (excited)
No shame in that at all, it's an exiting time for Apple Watches, this from someone who is getting their first because the last time they had an iPhone Apple Watches didn't exist yerI do Not need this watch, I did NOT preorder when it was announced. I’ve been on the fence about buying a Garmin, but my problem is is that the Apple Watch does so much more, and the Garmin are just too expensive. With the Apple Watch ultras advancements I am more inclined for the ultra so that way I will have a single device on my wrist instead of multiple watches. If I was off the grid for longer periods of time, that would change my decision because of the battery life.I am considering cancelling my order due to having doubts on AWU working for hiking and running (link to analysis on battery life, offline maps, etc.)
