Apple Watch Ultra ordered thread!

Netherlands here. Card was charged last Friday and status changed to 'preparing for shipping' (23rd Sep delivery). No change since then.
I had initially ordered the Ultra directly from Apple, which is now awaiting delivery on 23rd Sep. Last week, I came to know that T-Mobile (Netherlands) were offering the Ultra for €864 (as against €999 from Apple). Even with €5/month for the watch eSIM, the total cost comes to €984, which is still less than the Apple retail cost for the watch alone. It seemed like a good deal and so I placed an order with T-Mobile (not happy with myself for the wastage this would cause…but by the time I had placed the T-mobile order, I was charged for the Apple order and it could no longer be cancelled).
From my past experience with T-mobile.nl and their current waiting time for Series 8, I don’t think I will get my Ultra from them for at least a month from 23rd Sep. But their deal is too good to be passed. So, I am yet to decide on which order I am going to keep.

I hope so. However I have not seen any activity. Today is the 19th and if it’s arriving on the 23rd, I’m thinking I should see some activity. On the hand, they could ship overnight and activity not show until the 22nd.
What does your ship date say? Because mine is Sept 23rd so I'd assume I'll receive it either this Friday or early next week.
Shipping date from the Apple order is 23rd Sep. I am not worried about that. Order from T-mobile doesn't have any date. Their ordering system is and always has been a complete mess. I had to wait for 1 month for my earlier iPhones from them.
There won’t be any change in Europe until Thursday when it changes to shipped. I’m pretty sure they’re already sat in warehouses in different countries ready for local shipping
Do you plan on using watch protection on the ultra? I see there are already quite a bit of selections for cases, bumpers, and screen protector. I am thinking it will have a good degree of corrosion resistance, but chemicals could still affect the titanium?
Thank you so much, @jtptus. Come to think of it, I've held with UPS before -- might've been the iPad Pro but not sure -- and paid a few bucks to have it rerouted. I'll wait and see how this goes.
On a different note -- I ordered this Ultra using my Apple Card + three gift cards. I am a mid-to-late October delivery; that said, if I were to go into an Apple Store this Friday and catch one in stock, can I simply cancel this order and present my AC + GCs for use on 9/23?
I know stock is primarily store-dependent and all of that stuff. It's a shot in the dark to get one a month earlier, and was just curious if an online order being cancelled immediately freed up gift card funds to use in-store.
In the future, I'll just order whatever band is available the earliest and deal with it later!!
Ordered the Ultra direct from Apple on the morning of the 8th. The receive date moved to 9/30 - 10/7. Still in processing. 
Really hope my black/gray trail loop band gets bumped up from Nov. 4 - 18th. For the time being, going to have to make due with the Midnight Ocean band.
You might be able to exchange the ocean one in store if there is a gray trail loop there
My order just got pushed back by a week, from Oct 13-20 to Oct 21-28 now. I really hpe I can get one from the local Apple Store on Friday morning. Starlight Alpine loop was my band of choice.
Mine just got pushed back as well. Alpine Green band. Went from 9/30-10/7 to 10/5-10/12.
Guess I will try to get one on Friday morning as well in store.
Wow, Starlight has been the one that has kept an early delivery date. Now it's slipping far off. I think Apple was not expecting a big launch for the Ultra.
Just pushed back from 9/30 to 10/5-10/12. Orange Alpine Loop-Medium. Ordered early on 9/8. The GPS, backtracking and ruggedness features are the attractions for me. The delay will give me the chance to read many reviews. My concern is my not-so-massive wrist size. If it turns out I will look like the White Rabbit of Alice in Wonderland with oversized timepiece, my decision to purchase will be reconsidered.
