Honestly, you should be ashamed. How can you go around flaunting that iPhone Air in public? Think of the children who will force themselves to have these unrealistically slim iPhones! It’s shameful. Apple’s pushing these thinness standards while the Pro models are still out here all thicc as a brick. It’s like they want us to feel bad for carrying a phone with actual substance. What’s next!? Pro users getting dirty looks for their voluptuous frames? Sorry, some of us like a little heft with our horsepower. Let’s stop pretending every phone should look like it just skipped charging for a week. Own your chunky phones Pro users. Thin isn’t everything. 🤣LOL, now I want to buy an Air just to see if anyone is rude to me about it in public. I doubt anyone would say anything or even look askance at it. 😂
Nah when I hear (haven’t see in public yet) an iPhone Air customer, I think 🤑 as a shareholder as these people are willing to pay more for a compromised iPhone and experience and it’s making me 💰💰💰There’s been an unfortunate amount of negative chatter about the Air lately, and Pro (Max) users in particular (not all of them, of course) often seem eager to prove it shouldn’t even exist. So here’s a question for Air users: have you ever caught yourself, while using your Air in public, feeling a little embarrassed that someone might see you with this so-called “compromise” phone?
Why would anyone be embarrassed to use an iPhone? I wouldn't even be embarrassed if I used an iPhone 3GS in public. Or an old Nokia.
I was referring more to the fact that in the iPhone community, especially among Pro (Max) users, the Air has been criticized quite harshly. Not by everyone, of course, but by some. Imagine a situation where an Air user is sitting in a café with their phone, and someone sits down next to them, pulls out an orange Pro Max, and gives the Air user a slightly sly look. The Air user immediately remembers all those discussions on MacRumors and other forums, and starts to feel a bit uncomfortable. These thread topics are getting weirder and weirder. After weeks of threads like this "the Air is amazing" vs. threads like "the Air is the worst ever" we now have a thread asking whether people are embarrassed to use an iPhone Air.

Anyone seriously judging me because of what phone I'm using can duck right off anyway.

I am not embarrassed with owning and using the new Air. In fact, I have recently made it a point to put on my "iPhone Air 2025 Gang" jacket and walk through the toughest areas in the city, and nobody has messed with me.
This would be wonderful, but unfortunately I think this is a possible scenario, based on what some Pro (Max) users have written even on this very forum. This would never happen in reality unless that pro max user was you and you wanted to just act out your fantasy.

Edit: And based on the poll results.
Well, I didn’t mean it quite that literally. More like a general sense that you can sort of feel in the air sometimes, you know? Not really about any specific individuals, but more the kind of vibe that tends to show up in discussions here and there.Which forum members are you claiming who were given a sly look?
