Yes. Xs Max to Pro Max was kind of lame (except for the cameras) to be honest. I expect no notch (or atleast a smaller one), a larger 6.7" screen, USB-C, 5G and other various improvements.

I’m not sure it’ll disappear entirely, but it really needs to shrink in size. For me, the side bezels are worse especially when you see other manufacturers with much thinner ones.

I can’t wait to have a notchless iPhone again, but the notch is so is negligible on the Pro Max due to the larger screen, so for now it’s not so bad.

The Rumor is that the 6.7" will be exactly like the Xs Max / Pro Max in size, just with thinner bezels making a 6.7" screen possible instead of the 6.5" one.

The Old Magical Feeling That We Got From Using The iPhone 4 When It First Came Out Will Return For The 12 Pro.
You literally say that every year.

I will most likely upgrade from my xs Max.

It will certainly have the notch, I can’t see how they could possibly shove all the senors in to the bezel. It’s not possible, look at the size of the components.

I do love the theoretical classic design though. It was the single smartphone that I never felt the need to get a case for because it was so grippy.

LOL

Look at all these salty 11 Pro owners pretending like they're not excited...we know you are excited because you just bought a beefed up iPhone X. iPhone 12 is going to have a different chassis and material overall. Maybe another camera lens, promotion, way more RAM, and yea a totally different re-design.

I was waiting for the 12 and skipped this year's roided iPhone X. Sigh why can't people just be honest. Human nature I guess. Enjoy your iPhone X.

You are coming across as the salty insecure one to be honest...

FYI many of us with the pro have an upgrade plan whether with Apple or the carrier anyway. I’d only have to pay a very small fee.

"Extremely excited?" Errr, well, not really. I've only had my current 11 Pro since early October and the new iPhones won't even be released until September of 2020! Plenty of time yet to get excited as we hear more rumors, see potential mockups, etc, etc., and eventually get closer and closer to September 2020. Right now I'm happy with what I've got (LOVE my beautiful green iPhone 11 Pro!) and, well, sure, am mildly interested in what is to come in the future, but realistically there's loads of time ahead of us yet......

Why the hate for Face ID on the iPad?
It’s just too unwieldy. Fine if it’s sitting stationary on desk/table but in hold it becomes a big hefty slab that often Is inaccurate & takes a few attempts to scan. It seems to require positioning be just so and often tells me the camera is blocked (a loose sleeve can block the sensor) or to look down as it’s easy to not differentiate the iPads orientation. It’s just way more cumbersome than how my iPhone FaceID functions. It’s a pain.

Because it works in only one position. That’s one thing the Pixel 4 does better with facial recognition is it unlocks whether the device is upside down or sideways. They really need to have it unlock regardless of the device position.

I don't care about what the next iPhone is called, all I want is a redesign that's similar to the iPhone 4/iPad Pros.

And that 5.4" iPhone. Considering all the rumours, it seems that both are bound to happen.

I use face ID on my iPad Pro all the time in both portrait and landscape mode.

I am waiting and excited for the 12. Having an iPad Pro, I think I will opt for the 12 pro and not the max but we will see.

Interesting. I thought it could unlock in portrait or landscape. Seems like they need more work on the iPad implementation.

Edit: disregard. Looks like you were talking about iPhone

I’m excited, but not extremely excited. We still have 9 months to go and I’m not sure that I’ll upgrade.

I am. I'm interested in the new variety we have in sizing now and how they will shrink the notch. I'm not gonna upgrade until probably 2021 tho.
