I'm tied to a contract with my 13PM, which will be fully paid next year (I hate these 36 months plans now).
I'm waiting for the 16PM or even 17 to be honest.
Same. Verizon has me locked in for 36 months…..so what is the scoop on iPhone 17. Lol

I can appreciate this sentiment. Even if I'm not planning to upgrade myself right away, it's always interesting to see where things have gone with the latest innovations.Having said that, I'm always excited when new iPhones are released.
when i got my 13 pro max, they still had the 24 month contract option. they wanted to put me on a 36 month, obviously, but i was able to change it. thankfully, i'm upgrade eligible in a couple months. not looking forward to a 36 month contract, but i'm hoping for some excellent trade in offers.I'm tied to a contract with my 13PM, which will be fully paid next year (I hate these 36 months plans now).

10 years ago I agree, but nowadays iPhones didn't change much since the XS Max. It's basically the same phone for years. I don't understand people wanting to upgrade each year or 2 for basically the same device. We don't change our computers every year or 2, so why the need to change our phone so often ? I really don't understand that. New phones aren't really exciting anymore.I can appreciate this sentiment. Yeah I agree, there are only a few minor changes/improvements every year which could be nice to have for some people, but otherwise it’s the same phone. Upgrading 4-5 years later or when your phone stops getting software updates completely seems more reasonable. And Apple supports their phones for up to 6 or more years, which is why you can still manage to find people using iPhones 7/8 today that actually work perfectly fine for them.10 years ago I agree, but nowadays iPhones didn't change much since the XS Max. For me it’s not just the cosmetic look of the phone but it have a lot to do with the battery for me. The XS Max signal bands were horrible. I was paying for service and would lose service for several times a day. That’s also the same time I started working at the Post Office and it’s very important to have a phone and service that works. I went from the XS Max to the 12 Pro Max which was great the first year. The battery life on the 12 Pro Max is horrible. I had to carry a portable battery pack to charge my phone 2-3 times a day until I got home from work. Of course Apple ran their diagnostics and said the battery was fine and refused to change the battery, even though I had AppleCare+ and volunteered to pay for the battery change. The 14 Pro Max has been great, but of course the battery will start to deteriorate soon and I will have the same problem as the 12 Pro Max.10 years ago I agree, but nowadays iPhones didn't change much since the XS Max. I agree it’s basically the same phone if you lay the iphones from the Xs max and up face up on a table. A rectangular phone with Face ID hardware on the top and speakers and charging port on the bottom. Power button on the left and volume and mute on the right. If that’s your idea of what constitutes basically the same device it seems superficial.10 years ago I agree, but nowadays iPhones didn't change much since the XS Max. OK OK! So this thread has got me, ....err...considering the possibility. Those of you who sell their current iPhones, when do you sell? Do you lock in a deal with anyone? (Just curious you understand!😎)I usually upgrade every year but this year am planning to stick with my 14 Pro Max. The improvements are getting smaller and smaller every year and common sense tells me stick with my perfectly fine 14PM for another year. I probably shouldn't have upgraded from last years 13PM.
