Approx 6.950 billion people ;) I think this year will be mainly people on the iPhone upgrade programme, or who otherwise upgrade every year, plus people finally ready to move on from an older 6, 6s, 7 or 8.

Bit undecided. Have a X, great phone but not a great battery. The alleged battery improvements on the 11 interest me the most. Could make some use of the low light improvements but not loads.
It would be a 11 Pro I would be moving to, undecided re colour between space grey and midnight green - need to see them in store.

My XS Max battery lasts all day. I’ve also bought the battery case so again, this isn’t a reason for me to upgrade.

I also have to mention that I usually do upgrade. I’ve upgraded every year since the 5 but this is the first year I’m considering not doing.

It never made much sense to go for a yearly upgrade. Even more with the device costs of $1000 and more. So just relax.

I’m still on a 6s and will upgrade if the Xs drops below the 600€ mark cos i finally want to use dual sim and send my second line 5s in retirement
I’m also on a 6s. When it stops doing what I need, I’ll upgrade.

I placed an order for the 11 pro Max...upgrading from the XS Max. But I'm still undecided, because the XS Max is an excellent phone, and the upgrade is marginal. I scheduled a pick up for Friday. My plan is to go in, play with the display phones, and make my final decision then.

Not sure what to blame, but the battery in my X doesn’t last the day anymore. I’m looking forward to additional 4-5 hours a day.

Same kind of plan for me. I reserved two on the iUP, although I’ll be paying up front, will have a look in store on Friday. So, ultimately, the store will either have two extra to sell on the day or one.

Mine is at 92% battery health, apparently. It’s a fairly poor 92% if that is in fact accurate.

That’s what I’ve done. When the phones in a case apart from the new cameras it’ll be more or less the same as my Xs Max.

I will wait for next year and a bigger upgrade. There’s barely any difference IMO, my max is fast and works great so I see zero reason to upgrade this year. Next years with the supposedly 5g support will be a definite yes.

If I was coming from a XS Max I wouldn’t be bothering at all. The upgrade from the X is not as clear cut I don’t think.

I’m at 90%. I’m hoping that the 4 hour improvement over an XS are true.

I’m skipping this year and upgrading next year. Besides the reception, my XS Max is perfect. I’m paying outright next year for sim free and will be switching from T-Mobile to Verizon.

I won't say that I will never upgrade to the 11 Pro, but if something happens to my SE and my spare SE that I purchased as a backup, then I might consider the 11 Pro.

The 11 is too big for my liking, so if I needed another phone, I would either get an iPhone 8 or 11 Pro.

If Apple releases an SE sized 11, that will most likely be my next iPhone after my current SE iPhones are no longer usable.

Yeah, my XS Max is also in perfect condition. Had the Belkin Screen protector (fitted by Apple) on since day one.
[doublepost=1568579312][/doublepost]Also, what's this about the new 11 Pro's not having 3D Touch?

Wasn’t going to upgrade. I noticed when I took my case off the screen on my X has started to swell/pop up. Decided to go ahead and upgrade to the 11 pro max and send the x in for a credit on my bill. Might as well offset the cost of the pro max with the trade in as their willing to take it as long as it powers on and off and give me the full promotion amount. Not losing anything as it will probably cost to get it fixed or replaced at this point. I do have insurance through my CC company, but might as well save the headache as it may take a few weeks for them to decide and there is no guarantee they will fix it. Gives me a reason to go for the bigger screen size as well.

I read somewhere they removed it for the bigger battery. Don’t know how true that is, but I barely use 3D Touch now, so it wouldn’t bother me if they kept or removed it.

I have the X and I'm still thinking about it. Main reasons to upgrade to the 11 Pro could be the much improved cameras and the battery life. Cameras on the X are not that great in low light. The battery I could just buy a battery case and live with it until next year. I think I'm probably skipping this year but I'm waiting for the reviews.

I’m not one to upgrade every year. I just replaced my 6s that was on its last legs in August with XR, and been very happy with it.

I expect to stick with XR for several next few upgrades, as I had the iPhone 4 then to 6s and XR. Averaging every 4-5 years with each phone.

Sticking with the max.

Although my battery jumped randomly from 99 to 96 ever since the Apple event. PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE :D:D

I, personally do not see a good enough reason to upgrade from a Xs to the new models. Besides the addition of the new camera arrangement, most people will not notice a difference in day to day use. 10 to 15 percent faster as far as the A13 is not noticeable in day to day use. When iOS 13 is also released the speed of most phones will also increase.

I'm still happily rocking an X, it's a great phone and will serve me well for the next year or 2.
