Did any of you that had issues and had to cancel and reorder later in the day have your date slip? I got my reorder done around 5PM and my date for XSM SG 256 is Sept 24-Oct 1.
No change in date. When I called today. I was told it was going to be one day shipping.

I had to cancel and reorder around 8:56pm 9/14 but my date didn't slip 256gb XS Max Gold and it is now in prepared to ship with 9/21 delivery

I’m assuming that the 64G Silver XS isn’t in huge demand. I just preordered yesterday in store and it changed late last night to preparing to ship with a 9/21 delivery date.

I just got mine about an hour ago. I wouldn't worry about it. It has nothing to do with your order.

was your monthly total in the e-mail more than it should be? I had 2 unlimited plan charges on it for some reason. I only have 1 line. I did live chat but they like usual had no real answers.

Has anyone ever had experience with activating on a different line than what the order is on?

In my case, I used my brother’s line on my account to order my phone, but I will actually be switching my wife’s order onto mine and giving her my brother’s order (complicated I know, had to reorder a different size and color to get 9/21 due to ATT having issues and cancelling order)

My normal bill is like $500 due to the number of lines and installment plans I have, but for some reason the summary thing said my new bill will be $750! Just assuming that’s wrong or that I’ll need to fix once I get the actual bill. Or maybe it included some sales tax that isn’t actually recurring.

No problem at all. Just pop the sim into the phone for the line you want to use it on. We have 4 lines and we borrow each others upgrades all the time.

I think i read that the demand for the Xs was slow compared to the Xs Max. I think some are wait to see what the XR has to offer.

Thanks. I imagined that was it, but my brother is literally all the way across the country so if I screw it up I can’t fix it in person...

Last year, I took out the sim that came with the phone and put on mine and turned it on and it ruined the phone. I don’t know why. I have never seen that happen before, but it cause a lot of headache. I know if I activate this years phone under my mother in law’s upgrade, it will transfer her number to the sim that came in the phone. This has happened to us before. They don’t live too far away, so I’m just going to drive the new sim over to her and be done with it. Obviously you can’t do that.

You can try to just put your sim in before you turn on the phone and see if that works. Like I said, that didn’t work for me last year. The phone wouldn’t activate. Maybe it was just THAT phone. If you do have to activate your brothers number on the new sim, a call to customer service with his old SIM card and imei number will fix it. It will be a pain, but it can be fixed.

You're the first person I've seen with that date. I'd never do an instore preorder.

What do you guys think it will be like going from a 7+ to XS as far as screen size?

I used the 8 Plus for a while before going to the X. Even though the actual screen sizes are practically the same, the X is just a smidge narrower in width and I have been able to tell. I'm going to the XS Max because I watch a lot of video's on my phone and appreciate the bigger real estate.

LOL why? I did mine in store this year, and last year too, on Saturday (24 hours after pre-order had started) and it worked great. Got the 'In Process' for Sept 21 email right as I walked out the door, and by the time I was home I was already in 'Prepared for Shipping' for same date.

I don't trust the stores enough.

I’ll make sure to get those numbers from him before activating, thanks.

Happened to me last year too! My husband was without a phone all day.
