Carrier AT&T 2018 iPhone Pre-Order Thread

late to the posting party but I went into AT&T on the 14th and ordered mine (SMax 256g, Space Gray) got an email with the delivery date of the 21st an hour or so after placing the order. Status has always read "Preparing to ship". Like everyone else I've had no movement as far as a tracking number goes but I have no reason to believe my phone wont be here come Friday. Just picked up a cheap insignia case from best buy to hold me over until I get a better case in a week or so.

It doesn't say Delivery Date on my order confirmation though. It says preparing to ship. Estimated shipping date: September 21st.

So, when you check your order status at www.att.com/checkmyorder it does not look like this?

I forgot to mention that last year I received my notification from FedEx that I had a delivery scheduled for Friday around 6:30 PM CST on Wednesday. I remember I was sitting in church and I got the notification on my watch. No idea if it will happen like that again this year but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I got in at 2:52 and somehow screwed up the first one order and had to redo it.

I got in at 11:52pm. The key was to not refresh, but to wait in the Queue

I was clicking on the pre-order button and it would attempt to load and I'd press back...got lucky on one of the back's.

What do you guys think it will be like going from a 7+ to XS as far as screen size?

No difference, but it will fit better in your pocket.

Just got the Max Black silicone case from Apple. Feels so good! Love being back to the larger phone. Love the X but it was just a little too small for me.

Did you purchase from an in person  Store or did you order online/app?

My friend who’s with Sprint just got a shipped notification. I know we are AT&T but it just got me excited. It was a SG 256 XS Max

my last go around with att was for the 7plus and i got my shipped notification 2 days before launch day, so I'm hoping we start seeing tracking numbers trickling in starting tomorrow.

Beside checking AT&T for a change to "shipping", I set-up both a UPS MyChoice and FedEx Advance tracking accounts a few years ago. Sometimes I get notifications from UPS or FedEx before I find out from AT&T or Apple. It use your address as a reference. Of course, I check my bank account for the iPhone tax, which will be charged when shipped too.

Yes for whats its worth. ATT is showing me a delivery date for Friday "preparing to ship" and I've got nothing on the fedex or UPS site...

I too have nothing but sometimes the shipping company sends a Notification before AT&T or Apple.

Shipping date is expected tomorrow and delivery date is this Friday

One thing I did differently though is ship it to my work. Hoping I can intercept it fast enough to have it go to the hub instead. The addresses won’t match, but I believe I can use the tracking number as proof? I should have had it go to my house, but I was worried that I wouldn’t be home. Grrrrr

At least with UPS MyChoice you won't be able to redirect from work to the hub. Not sure about if phone support for FedEx/UPS could help.
