Honestly this is BS. Over at the Apple.com thread they can redirect their pre-orders as UPS is shipping them.I can pre-sign for UPS, but I can't do it for any FedEx packages I receive. The option is usually greyed out or not there..

Yea, I tried to hold it at the FedEx location, but it was saying "try again later." I was hoping picking it up there would be faster than waiting for it to be delivered.
This isn't a FedEx restriction, it's an AT&T one.Honestly this is BS. Over at the Apple.com thread they can redirect their pre-orders as UPS is shipping them.
I know. Still sucks.This isn't a FedEx restriction, it's an AT&T one.
thank you.No it will come with a SIM card in it. You activate it at your home or office. You don’t need to take it to a store.
Anyone else’s not move from Irving, TX or go back to it then not move?

Yes. It’s not moving back and forth. What they are doing is scanning it every day that the package is there. Basically confirming they still have it. They physically received it on the 19th but continue to scan it to ensure they have logs indicating it’s still there.Anyone else’s not move from Irving, TX or go back to it then not move?

Got my tracking this morning for my 64 Space Grey Max and my Wifes 64 XS Gold. Currently sitting an hour south of us in Indy.
This the first set of phones i've ever ordered online as I usually go into the ATT store to buy/activate them when I trade the old ones in. Can anyone explain the process to me besides backing up and restoring information as I'm familiar with that. Is it easy to transfer service to the new phones? Is the process to mail the old phones back simple/reliable?

By the way I notice that Apple is including a sim tool in the packaging this year. They haven’t done that in a long time.

Got that same video. Came in a text for me.Well that’s different — I just got a “personalized” video from AT&T on how to track my iPhone order and set it up. What made it “personalized” is that they used my name and correctly identified the phone I’m getting.
My phone, an iPhone XS Max, left Irving TX and is now in Indianapolis, IN.

I saw on reddit about 20 XS Max phones and 2 boxes of XS.
