Need to call when I get a chance, but my cancel button on the order status page had disappeared or maybe even never shown. Which evidently shouldn't have happened without the order shipping. Talking to live chat just now and they're claiming the order has shipped (they did not specify when), but I still have in progress, and nothing in FedEx, UPS, or even USPS delivery systems. They were going to get my tracking number, then the chat disconnected and the next guy was "from billing" so he claimed no access to see. Which is just so convenient there.

I cannot grasp whatever absurd logistics are at work here. Just so super odd.

Update. Apparently, for folks that have not seen any movement on their order may indicate that the Number port did not go through(if you are transferring from another operator). Call AT&T Port number and they will help you with the port and get your order ready to ship. AT&T won’t ship if number is not ported. Hope this helps or maybe a lot of folks already knew that. Oh well Good luck :)
Thought that was my issue, but it looked like it resolved after I addressed it Friday evening. Doesn't stop others from having issues they didn't get notified of, I may have been lucky to get that communication. Most folks here would likely prefer the speedy live help approach now, but att.com/port will also allow you to check and address some issues. But then, you may or may not get info about what's up with your order after you do that.

D+3 and no movements since I ordered. Interestingly, my display doesn't show estimated delivery dates like others have shown above, but has always shown estimated ship dates. Any other Premier orders looking like mine or with estimated delivery dates instead?

This is exactly what mine has showed since I ordered (Premier-FirstNet). Sure, they give a range, and that's fine. That range however shouldn't mean that those who ordered identical devices days later should get theirs before those who ordered promptly. People still have a justifiable expectation that they stick to their advertised "first-come, first served" policy on iPhone pre-orders.

Did anyone order the Gold 128GB Pro and receive theirs yet? I placed an order at 7:59:57 AM EDT launch morning, with a delivery estimate of 10/26 -11/2. Still no update at all. Pretty ridiculous when you manage to actually technically get an order in prior to official launch time of 8am EDT, and still no update other than "In Progress". I'm in Los Angeles County btw. Hopefully the process for the Pro Max in a couple weeks is smoother than this has been for AT&T orders. I may order directly through Apple for that launch if I can expect more of the same.

My 12 pro pacific blue 128 GB has always shown delivery estimate 10/26-11/2. Customer service just confirmed estimated ship date 10/23-10/30. Hoping for an update soon!

Why is it ridiculous to not get an update yet. The range was 10/26 to 11/2. Its 1 or 2 shipping. If you have no update by Sunday, sure be confused and upset, but until they miss the window it’s no biggie.

It's ridiculous, because as so many others here have stated, people that ordered later in the day have already received phones, while people ordering first thing in the morning still have not gotten a single update. And people who didn't order directly from AT&T were also able to receive theirs on the 23rd as expected. It's clear AT&T has pretty well bungled their handling of launch orders. My inquiry was mostly to see if anyone ordering gold phones are having similar issues, since most of the this thread's discussion has focused on the PB phones.

I know 2 peeps who got the 12 pro gold 128 on delivery day that order well after I did (8:00:25 on preorder day)

I have the same thing. Premier customer, ordered iPhone Pro 128GB Pacific Blue. Oct 23-30 delivery estimate. No movement on mine or a colleague’s who got the same phone in graphite.

(WARNING: Happy Ending)

I had been checking this forum quite often because I was in the same boat as many of you: "In Progress" with my delivery by dates showing Oct 27 - Nov 3. However I know people who ordered the same model (12 pro 128gb graphite) after me and have received it already. Since my initial preorder on Oct 19, I had many a difficult conversation with AT&T customer service.

Today, I realized that Best Buy had the order available to deliver Oct 28 (guaranteed). Naturally, I enquired about canceling my AT&T pre-order and I got a lot of scary answers like "it could take 3-5 business days". I was so fed up with the AT&T process that I took the risk and canceled my order.

QUITE fortunately, the upgrade showed up as eligible on Best Buy's website. Even MORE fortunately, they had one pacific blue 128gb available, which is the model I was most interested in. Perhaps, MOST fortunately, I didn't even have to wait till Oct 28: it was instantly available to pick up 40 mins away (in Maryland)!! I placed the order two hours ago and would have gone to pick it up tonight if I wasn't so tired from 6 hrs of back to back classes. But tomorrow morning for sure!

I understand that everyone still stuck on "In Progress" might not have stock available at their local Best Buy, but it's worth checking honestly! Otherwise stay strong, and hopefully we all learn our lesson and preorder with Apple next time.

TL;DR: AT&T preorders suck for some reason, I'm highly impatient, and I got lucky with Best Buy.

While Apple might have more stock, it doesn’t excuse how AT&T (and possibly other carriers) handled the stock they did have. The people in this thread all ordered from AT&T so we are comparing times to other people who ordered from them. It isn’t hard to fill orders in the order you receive them.

I’ve gotten up at 3 am before to preorder an iPhone. I would have been super annoyed if someone got up at 10 am and then got a phone on launch day when I didn’t. It is like standing in line and people behind you being served first when you’ve been waiting longer. That isn’t how lines work.

Also, I think some people have to order through the premier site so they can’t order from Apple. AT&T handled this badly, and they should rightly be flamed for it.
Yes, I got on launch day, but had issues only resolved after tweeting. Now my apple care + not on my phone. Was told shipped separately. Shouldn’t it already be installed? Shipping email says it was in same box as phone. Nope. Invoice in box says nothing about shipped separately. I mean it’s a license key. How can you mess that up? ATT is company account but thinking how horrible they are. May check out Verizon company deals.

I did on 10/16. I did have issues post reciept re: activation.

I'm so jealous. I can't pick it up anywhere. My only options are shipping from Apple or AT&T at this point.

I ordered that same color and model Gold 12 Pro 128gb. I am in the same boat as you are. I wonder if anyone who ordered gold got any.

Mine was submitted by 7:16AM CST on the 16th

Well I will say one thing I've noticed. With ordering my Wifes iphone 12 AT&T told me to Turn Off Find My iPhone. I turned it off and was able to place the order and she received it on launch day friday.

I ordered my 12 pro 128gb PB and guess what, it did not ask me to turn off Find My iphone. I wonder if that is what is holding up the order process, those of you that have your orders stuck on still in progress try turning off find my iphone to see if that changes anything.

Did you cancel using Cancel order or chat or call AT&T? Bestbuy seems to have it for Wednesday so debating it. Congrats.

That’s odd. Why would that stop it? Heck worth a try tho. Mine is still stuck in process. It’s really irritating me

Hmm... Gold 128gb is only color out of stock in all stores near me. I wonder if they made less of these or if it was popular

Still no update for my graphite 128 iPhone 12 Pro. Premier services sure is not premier. I thought about canceling, as Apple keeps having these in stock, but will ride it out and just order from Apple going forward. AT&T really has been a disappointment.

So, hard to call and get updates too when on Premier services.
