Carrier AT&T iPhone 12/12 Pro/Max Pre-Order/Order Status/Delivery Thread (2020)

I was literally going to cancel my order and found this. Preparing to ship my pacific blue pro 128gb. Let’s go!

Happens every damn year. Everyone freaks out and ends up getting their phone during the promised window lol.
 
Something finally hit my FedEx account, coming from Rancho Cucamonga, CA... guess the local Stash in Fort Worth, TX ran dry 😛

This is normal. The initial charge you saw was temporary, it's called a hold. Basically checking to make sure you have enough funds on the payment method to cover it. You will see it show up again when the phone actually ships.

I don't remember supplying CC info for the tax. Perhaps in the excitement I forgot, but I think I would remember having to do that. I just assumed it (sales tax) would be on my next bill.
 
I had a delivery of 11/9-11/16. I’m going to be out of town for some of that date range. Once I saw cancelling and ordering from Best Buy was an option I did that today. Cancelled with AT&T and almost immediately ordered from Best Buy. Took very little time and effort. I’ll have my 128 go iPhone 12 Pro Pacific Blue tomorrow.

I’m confused now.


When clicking order status check on the confirmation email I see the dreaded in progress still.

When I manually enter my order number and zip code in the order status page I see preparing to ship

When I use 6737# I get Your item is currently on backorder.

12 pro 128 PB.

Mine is also preparing to ship. 12 Pro Graphite 128gb. Hopefully, that means I get it this week. Ordered first thing on ordering day.

Shipped and says arriving tomorrow. We shall see.

I think the "backorder" part was common (in this thread) when a shipment was readying to ship. It freaked a lot of people out but turned out to be a good omen. Still, I'd check with Fedex to see if a label has been created. Fingers crossed.

Nothing from fedex yet. But it’s best progress I’ve seen yet .

This EXACT thing happened to me with the X. It did it for about a week and then finally shipped.
 
Mine FINALLY says preparing to ship as well. (it says it every way I check the status) I ordered 10/16 at 8:04 am 12 pro Pacific Blue 128g.

D+4 and still no movement. Good to see some potential progress from other Premier orderers. Hope to see some movement soon since my order was about 5 mins after those that are seeing progress!

In the FedEx shipment email, who does it say the delivery is from? I just got an email saying I have a package from “ATC” that will be delivered tomorrow and I don’t know if that could be my phone or something else. My ATT account still says In Progress.
