Carrier AT&T iPhone 12/12 Pro/Max Pre-Order/Order Status/Delivery Thread (2020)

Ordered iphone 12 pro pacific blue 128gb and have shipping date of November 13-20. Still says in progress and hasn't changed since. I did order and silver version of the 12 pro 128gb and that has a ship date of October 30-6 and it shipped friday the 23 on release day. Any chance mine might come soon or do I just have to rough it out waiting for it to ship.

My 128 PB just moved to Preparing to Ship. Order evening of 10/16. Original ship date/window, Nov 2nd-Nov9th.

Got my shipment tracking number from ATT tonight!! Delivery tomorrow!! I ordered 10/16 at 1:00pm and was told 11/9-11/16. Silver Pro 256

I’m confused now.


When clicking order status check on the confirmation email I see the dreaded in progress still.

When I manually enter my order number and zip code in the order status page I see preparing to ship

When I use 6737# I get Your item is currently on backorder.

12 pro 128 PB.

Ok I just got the exact same thing from each of these options. Premier with same phone, ordered about the same time. Hope its a good sign.

A couple of movements on my order status today.

Ordered: 10/16/2020 at 12:56:26 p.m. ET

Brand new At&t account, porting 2 lines from VZW.
Phone 1: 128Gb PB Pro
Phone 2: 128Gb Gold Pro

Phone 1 got updated to 'Preparing to Ship' this morning
Phone 2 stayed 'In Progress'.

Then about 30 mins ago both phones came back to 'In Progress' status, but now the Cancel Order button is gone.

Delivery date stays the same: October 26, 2020 - November 2, 2020

I was in the same boat and I canceled my order and went with Best Buy. They shipped it the same day from a store near me and will be here today. Have FedEx tracking and all.

128GB iPhone 12 Pro Graphite just shipped last night and being delivered today. AT&T Order Status Page still showing In Progress.... This mess makes me nervous for the 12 PM orders next month!!

I don't remember supplying CC info for the tax. Perhaps in the excitement I forgot, but I think I would remember having to do that. I just assumed it (sales tax) would be on my next bill.

I have seen some people on here that have had to pay the tax up front, and others that have had it added to their next bill. I don't work for at&t so i don't know why it is different.

Anybody here have experience returning a device to AT&T via the mail (14 day return window, not trade-in), and how long it takes to refund the amount to your credit card/reflect on your AT&T account? I mailed an iPhone back last Friday and I need the return to be processed on my AT&T account so that I can pre-order the 12 Pro Max on November 6th.

oh man, thats going to be close. I had one take 3 weeks before and had one take 1.5 weeks, but that was not during a launch of a new iphone either. did they not give you the option to take into store?

I went to my local AT&T store and they attempted to do the return but they ran into problems after about 30 mins and told me to come back the next morning. And when I did they tried again with no luck. In retrospect I should have just waited until they could have done it for me.

Man I really hope this all gets settled before the pre-order (the return and my account status). I will keep a close eye on the return and bother AT&T until this is taken care of.

iPhone 12 Pro 128 Pacific Blue got shipping label printed notification around 0500 this morning for delivery tomorrow. So far FedEx doesn't have it, but their overnight service I know is reliable. Coming from the hub in DFW.
