Carrier AT&T iPhone 12/12 Pro/Max Pre-Order/Order Status/Delivery Thread (2020)

My iPhone 12 left China on the 26 th & was delivered in Cary, NC at 8 pm on the 28 th. Absolutely unbelievable shipping. iPhone is working on AT&T & I am trying to learn as this is my first iPhone as I always had flip phones.

My long overdue 12 pro shipped from AT&T finally yesterday. Shipped right into Hurricane Zeta as it was hammering ATL airport delaying the flight from Indy by a couple hours and meaning that it didn't get to the local delivery center until after noon, so FedEx elected not to deliver it as guaranteed after all. Of course even though they don't require signatures, ATT still insists fedex make a delivery attempt so I can't just have it held at the station to pick up conveniently in the AM and ATT also forbids them from allowing us to select a 2 hour delivery window meaning can show up any time from 8-8 tomorrow (maybe) so another day wondering around the house staring longingly at the driveway.
First time ordering from Best Buy, Apple was 11/25 and ATT a month later. Went to Best Buy.com yesterday, it Shippee same day from Palm Beach Gardens, FL - I received today. Pretty amazing. Plus got ATT trade in offer.
Got mine this afternoon in ATL. But no power or WiFi, thanks to Zeta knocking over trees and taking out powerlines, so can’t x-fer the stuff from my current X

Me too! Speaking to them was a horrid experience. Chat based support seemed to know more. that's where I got there numbers from. On my end, it doesn't even show what the destination is and I am also worried that they wont reverse the upgrade before the big boi launches. But hoping for the best, I think you will be ok. I am more worried since I mailed mine out 4 days after you. Oh well... but yes, never ordering from AT&T again.
Wednesday my phone went to preparing to ship and Thursday at&t said shipper but fedex just said imitated and label created now today friday it says pending. Says it’s coming from Indiana to me and dfw area so will it come today or what’s happening with it
Hoping the best for you too. Learned my lesson this time. Planning on buying all future iPhones directly from Apple's site and picking up at my local store. Only want to use AT&T for service and NOTHING more.
Once at&t says shipped how long does it take for fed ex to physically get the package. Was originally said shipped Thursday but nothings changed and says labeled.
I went from "Prepared to ship" and then found it in FedEx Delivery Manager, already on the way.
I would say, though, it shouldn't be more than a day or two at most, if they've made the label already, right?
I was so excited our phones switched to “preparing to ship” a couple of hours ago. I checked again and it’s back to in progress. ???
at&t Canceled my first order made at 7:58am on 10/16 because of an "error" with my address, they told me that could order it again but i couldnt because that line already had a new contract and i had to wait... i waited until sunday 17 and decided to pay off the upgrade for my other line.. i first had dates of 10/30-11/6.. then they changed to 11/02-11/9 and now i have dates 11/13-11/20... iPhone 12 Pro PB 128gb. still in progress.... FML

I ordered an IPhone 12Pro 128g gold on 10/17 and it shows still in progress. Is there a high demand for the gold? I would of think it should of shipped by now.
Just to let you ATT guys know! My bill just came out with the $30 upgrade fee for my 12. There is a little “dispute fee” option to click right under the fee. Click it and say “you were told there would be no fee” and click submit. It came back with a “we will credit your bill $30”. First time I have seen this. I can’t stand those fee’s. Charge us extra to pay more money.?
So it’s now been 3 days since my iPhone 12 pro pacific blue 128gb went to shipped and fedex says pending and hasn’t received package from at&t. How long does this normally take seems like 3 days is a bit to long. Hoping it will be here monday
yes - you can cancel online with AT&T and for me it reflected the upgrade status immediately to order from Bestbuy which I picked a couple of hours later. Completed trade-in at the AT&T store yesterday for $800 credit for the Bestbuy phone purchase.
These tips may help speed things up if you have to contact your carrier to activate your iPhone.
1. Have 20 digit SIM card number copied down.
2. iPhone S/N, model & IMEI data available. (Settings, General, About)
3. Be polite and patient with carrier personnel.
4. Have your carrier account numbers and PIN.
