Ordered mine on the 26th at ATT. Says arrival date is end of Nov to early December. Wonder if I can cancel and order at Best Buy if I can get it faster. My phone been having charging issues.
I did exactly that this morning. Ordered online. Going to pick it up in about an hour.

Has anyone received their trade-in box/materials for their AT&T $800 trade-in credit? We ordered a number of phones under this program and have been waiting for the materials to send the old phones to AT&T.

yes - you can cancel online with AT&T and for me it reflected the upgrade status immediately to order from Bestbuy which I picked a couple of hours later. Completed trade-in at the AT&T store yesterday for $800 credit for the Bestbuy phone purchase.

Thanks for the info. I did the same yesterday as well.

I know the preorder for the IPhone 12 Pro max is the Friday 11/6. At Best Buy does it start at 12:01 am or when the store opens?

Sucks ATT lowered the $800 promo trade in for iPhone se 2020 to $90 “value” on October 30. Before it was valued above that arbitrary $95 or more threshold. So iPhone se only qualifies for $350 trade in promo spread over 30 months making it not a good trade in bait

most of us got it for $199/250 Walmart special iPhone se 2020 and essentially free use phone to flip until now.

Starting to get annoyed with at&t. They said my package was shipped Thursday but it’s now been 5 days and fedex still says pending which I think means they still haven’t received it. Is there any way I can talk to at&t to see what happened or am I just out of luck.

Not sure how widestead it is, but based on my 90+ minute wait I am guessing it’s pretty widespread.

I tried to log into my ATT app this am but couldn’t. Kept on getting information about Liberty Communication. Finally was able to log in on my computer to see my account was moved to Liberty Communications. WTF, got no information about this and didn’t authorize.

After a little research, I found out ATT sold its wireless business in Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands to Liberty. My account is in the US so it shouldn’t impact me...well ATT made a mistake a sent a bunch of US accounts.

The issue is pretty simple. If not fixed/moved back to AtT by friday, you won’t be able to upgrade to mini or pro Max. Basically your account is not with att at this point..

wanted to share,

First time ordering from Best Buy, Apple was 11/25 and ATT a month later. Went to Best Buy.com yesterday, it Shippee same day from Palm Beach Gardens, FL - I received today. Pretty amazing. Plus got ATT trade in offer.
Yea BB is looking best this year. Apple in store is much worse that last year. Barely even find any 512s or SIM Free this time around

For anyone that cares...

There is a 5G SIM Card from AT&T so having the correct plan and SIM Card is the best option to use all the 5G bands, even standalone 5G (no LTE/4G area) with no issues.

Some people have been issues without the 5G SIM Card in their iPhone 12 devices but not everyone. I went to my Corporate AT&T Store today and asked for the "5G SIM Card" and the lady no problem. She went in the back and came out with a blue and white SIM Card holder and it said 5G in huge letters on it. She popped out the nano SIM Card and put it in my phone, did her stuff in the system and I was done.

She said that AT&T uses 3 different SIM Cards and the 5G SIM Card is the latest...interesting.

The SIM Card I got inside my iPhone 11 Pro Max last year was orange and blue, the new 5G SIM Card is white with a blue AT&T globe. I attached the photo (just blocked out my SIM Card number). The SIM Card is $5 (SIM Cards used to be free at Corporate stores) but the rep didn't charge me.

My receipt showed:

Item ID: 6818B (I assume this is the 5G SIM Card SKU)

Description: SIM VAR UICC-H CONSUM

Now I'm ready to order my iPhone 12 Pro Max on Friday.

I usually get the sim free version since its easier to pop my old sim in. I guess this year I'll have to go with the "Activate my iphone" AT&T version so I get the SIM

Yes it was a envelope that looked like a standard bill from them. Has a small bubbler mailer in it and label at least for mine it was.

I thought the same thing. AT&T pulled a quick one and in a very short period of time lowered the value of the SE. Last week you would get the $800 credit - now only $350. That’s pretty annoying going into iPhone 12 mini/Pro Max pre-order. I too got the SE for $250 and now trading in for the credit from AT&T.

AT&T received my returned phone yesterday. (Not a trade-in, a purchase via Loyalty.)

How long does it usually take for them to process the return at the warehouse so that my account releases me from the contract tied to the returned iPhone?

Got my 12 Pro yesterday, 18 days early. Two problems, though. To return the box, it said there a trade-in agreement to sign. It wasn't there. No help from ATT. Secondly, my phone doesn't have a 5G option on the cellular section-only LTE and 4G. Once again, support people don't have a clue. Anyone else have this problem?

Had to change to a 5g plan to get 5g. I still have to box my old one up.

Anyone else in for another round of punishment Friday? Wife wants a Green Mini.

I'm torn between going directly through AT&T or through Apple this year. Are there any pros/cons I should be made aware of besides having to have my credit checked again through Apple to do the every year plan?

I would think the delivery estimates, Apple may be faster depending on what you get I think.

Still waiting here. I probably will go to a store and surrender my phones there.

I changed my order today from the gold 12 pro and opted for the silver 12 pro 512gb. This is so I can get it sooner. I was told 5-10 business days. I’ll still Oder my 12 pro Max Friday
