FedEx just confirmed that my phone was left at the warehouse this morning 🤬 and they have no reason why and won’t commit to when it will actually be delivered. They opened a case 🙄 but they said could be 3 business days for a response.
Seriously not 5 minutes after talking to FedEx and them saying it never got on a truck today and posting here.. who knocks on my door 🤦‍♂️ The FedEx man lmao

Well doesn’t look like I’m getting mine today. It left Texas on Wed, arrived in Memphis 5am yesterday, departed Memphis at 9pm and arrived back in Memphis at 5am again this morning. I live in Florida. Wtf?! I hate FedEx with a passion.

Congratulations! I really like the Pacific Blue in the photos I’ve seen! Very elegant and classy! I just called FedEx and she admitted they did not attempt to deliver my iPhone since they are completely overwhelmed as they said they attempted to deliver and no one was home. I was at my home all day with the security cameras on and no one was here today! Another bummer! I plan to drive to the nearest FedEx location and attempt to get it tomorrow before they close. Again, congratulations and enjoy your new awesome Apple iPhone 12 PM!!!!

FedEx pulled up to my house and then promptly left at 3:50PM today. I didn't make the door in time to try to intercept, but according to doorbell camera, he didn't even get out of the truck. After looking at my order on Fedex website, it says Delivery Exception / Wrong Address. Thus far, FedEx has told me this is an ATT problem. ATT telling me is a FedEx problem. No one is helping. Any ideas?

I was doubtful about usps (surprised it wasn’t ups or fedex) coming thru on this one but they came earlier than expected. The long wait now is for me getting the software updated and transferring over. I need faster net lol

How can it be wrong address if they stopped at your house? I would contact fedex again, tell them your tracking and say you have footage of the driver showing up but leaving. If they have the address wrong but your name correct they should be able to fix it.

How do you know if you have aa 5G SIM? I'm in atlanta subburbs and my 12 is showing LTE. I know 5G is in atlanta but don't know if its in my area yet.

Same question, Atlanta here too in town... I don't see the 5G options in Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options. Hmm. I saw my neighborhood covered in 5G on AT&T's coverage map, and I have an Unlimited Plan (AT&T said all Unlimited Plans include 5G)... Currently on hold to talk to an AT&T rep to see what's up...

I’m not in Atlanta but when I went the load the SIM from my iPhone 11 into the new phone because I originally didn’t have service after activation on the new phone the iPhone 12 Pro Max already had the 5G SIM in the SIM tray. I turned off WiFi and my cellular showed 5G service. I would check the SIM tray to see if the 5G SIM is in it and if not I hear people went to AT&T when they got their iPhone 12 Pro and got one.

Cool thanks! My problem might be simpler... turns out my "Unlimited Choice II" plan doesn't have 5G after all... gotta swap to a plan with two capital letters instead! Hehe. "UNlimited" is apparently what I need... oops!

I'm still waiting for UPS to deliver mine. I have the UPS webpage opened on the "Follow My Delivery" section and I've been refreshing it every few minutes for the past couple of hours. The delivery truck with my package has driven in front of my house twice . Whoever planned these routes is very inefficient.

apparently I have to pay $20 more month per line to get 5G. I think I will stay with LTE isn't worth $80 more a month.

I didn’t move sims. Just used the one thst csne with my 12.

So do I need to eject my SIM card to see if it’s 5g? If I eject it how can I tell if it’s a 5g sim?

I seem to have the same plan you may have. After reviewing the options I came to the same conclusion.

For those of us who got our iPhones on the AT&T Next plan, in case you are wondering how the old phone is supposed to be returned, the "Return kit" was included in my shipping. The return label and instructions are inside and you use the original shipping box you get your iPhone in.
That is a negative. Do not use the label that came with your box to return your old phone because that label is there to return the new phone if you’re not satisfied with it. You’re supposed to be getting an email from AT&T after you give them the IMIE number of the phone you’re trading in so they can create a case for you to send you an envelope in the mail that will show up 3 to 4 weeks later. If you send your bad your old phone using that return label it won’t get counted as a promotional discount and will probably get missplaced or put in the wrong spot where nobody will know what to do with it.

If it came with the 12 then it's a 5g sim. You're good...

I have a quick question. I ordered by iPhone 12 pro Max through apple. I bought it outright and the Sim free version, so when I got my phone i just swapped my SIM card from my old iPhone. Do I need a 5G compatible SIM card or does the old one works fine with it?

thanks,

So I guess my port was confirmed Monday and ATT didn’t approve it? Anyhow they approved it today and said I should get a tracking number with 24-48 hrs. They now added a place holder for my new line so I guess that’s a good thing. Hoping for Monday or Tuesday delivery if possible
