i get the same on my 7 plus on 10.2. I think all social media apps uses a lot of battery7 plus 10.2
If that's an iPhone 7 that's excellent, if it's a 7 plus its good50% what I got just iTunes and browsing

Battery life and usage using case plus phone battery with 9% left - light browsing, a couple of netflix episodes and music listening.
Gave up trying to fix the problem so have sent the phone off for a refund, and will buy it again when that comes through. Had many conversations trying to get my phone replaced due to the 2% a hour battery drain on airplane mode, but they were having none of it. If I were to send it back they would of either "attempted" to resolve the issue and if not then they would of sent me a refurbished iphone. So luckily I was under the christmas return period so have returned it for a full refund, so will let everyone know how my next one acts up. Hoping its better.
It sounds like yours had the same fault as my launch day iPhone 7.. I gave up trying to fix mine once I realised it still drained almost 2% per hour while switched off as well. The Apple Store gave me a replacement for mine, but yeah if your in the return period I don't blame you for simply returning it and buying another new phone.
I don't know about you guys but Facebook is a damn monster on battery life.
Every iPhone in my house from iPhone 6 to 6s and 7 will not last a day without plugging them in to charge when in the past they would last a day and a half. I'm about done with iPhone.
Sorry I can't do a personal comparison between the two phones but they look quite closely matched with the 6s plus having a longer standby time and the 7 longer wifi browsing time

Have you tried adjusting settings to a more battery saving set up?
I can quite easily get 1 day out of my three year old battery in my 5s and 2 days out of my iPhone 7

I've never owned a 6s plus but I reckon my 7 will give anyone's 6s plus a run for its money anyway
I had 10.2 for only half a day on my I-5 phone. I immediately reverted back to 10.1, with no issues.

Has anyone spoken to Apple or gone to the Genius Bar with their draining battery issue? I am having severe drain on my iPhone 6 since updating to iOS 10.2, and the Apple Store would only offer me another phone at full retail price (not ready for upgrade).
What apps are you all using? Any video streaming? I deleted the Facebook app on my 6s Plus and that helped me end the day with around 40%.
My 7+ has the Facebook app installed and I use it regularly and I end the day at or around 55%.
The A10 chip in the new iPhone contributes to that a lot as my new phone uses the low power cores most of the time.
If you do use the Facebook app, I notice closing it out when you're done using it helps too. (Also make sure background app refresh is off too)

I don't think Apple is signing versions below iOS 10.2 anymore, so installing those wouldn't work.
