Do not downgrade to iOS 10.1, it has been known to cause serious issues with notifications.
Don't think downgrading to anything below iOS 10.2 has been possible for at least a few weeks now.

Battery life is getting better and better on my iPhone 7! Did have it on airplane mode roughly 4 hours but still had wifi connected all the time. Had been on Snapchat (which is a massive killer) quite a bit! Very happy!

Not too bad ...

Here's mine at 50% .. no airplane mode, always connected to cellular signal and either on 4G/LTE or wifi connection

Outstanding battery life deano, I'd be doing what your avatar does with that kind of battery. I notice you have a strong connection, is that the case most of the time?

Absolutely .. when it manages 6hours usage or more at the 50% mark that's with a strong cellular signal nearly all of the time.
When there's been a mixture of strong and weak cellular signals it'll do more like 5/5 and a half hours usage at the 50% mark .. depending on what I'm doing on my phone as well.

Cheers

Less than 6 hours now. Apple's updates have become straight GARBAGE. A SE that doesn't get 6 hours? Pathetic
Is this what people are seeing in general with the SE? Could something else be in play there?

Not sure but I've seen a few on here say the same after ios10. When I first got it I was getting 8-9 hours on ios9, ios10 comes & there it goes. Gets worse with each update it seems & I already did a restore. Guess I'll do another one.

Iphone 6s here still on 9.3.5, guess i'll never upgrade to ios 10, i mean i could but i don't want to lose 1% battery life each 2 mins (while on use). Battery life on ios 9 was never amazing but it has been the minimum decent so far.

BTW the Battery Pro app says: -0.4% Battery Wear Level after having the phone since end of 2015.

You happy man. But what can we do ,because we buy with 10.2 and this big company don't let us to downgrade .

It does not show current and seems to measure wrong wear level:
This app: 100%
Battery Life: 96%
On 9.3.5 SE
I think coconut battery is the most accurate app out there. You need to install it on your Mac and have your phone connected but it gives more info than any ios app out there currently - albeit that Apple has shut off some info formerly accessible to these phone apps before.

Alright. But I just wanted to mention that this linked app (battery doctor) is useless imho.
This thread sums up to:
If you want to check your real battery wear level - visit Apple...

Is SE on 10.2.1 still piece of crap in battery life ?

Beta 4 has great battery life. I can get 12 hours standby and 6 hours usage, and still have around 50-60% left.

Wow are they selling the iphone 6s with ios 10.2 by default right now? How they dare...

I have an iPhone 6s Plus and my battery life's not very good since iOS 10...

So for the next iPhone, I really don't know if a should buy a non-Plus model with a smart battery case or a plus model...

Just came across something somewhat odd with my iPhone 7 running iOS 10.2.1 currently: I watched a movie for about 1 hour and 20 minutes and afterward checked the battery usage which showed the correct standby time, but for some reason the usage time didn't really seem to increase by much compared to what it was before I started the movie.

It's like the time while the the movie was playing (full screen) didn't really count at all. In the app battery usage section the correct video app shows up with the right time on screen, but somehow that time isn't reflected in the actual overall usage time.

So SE gets bad battery on 10.2?

was debating going to it from 9.3.3 for jailbreak, but I dunno...

hearing lots of iffy things about battery and performance

and others who say its about the same as iOS 9
