My iPhone 6 was crapping out after about 3 hours of usage before the most recent update....now it's lasting all day again. Anyone else experiencing this?

Don't know if someone mentioned this before but if you watch a youtube video in safari and then close safari (just press home button - don't throw it out in app switcher) then it drains the battery VERY fast, in just 2 hours I went from 100% to 66%

Could be what I've noticed - Watched a YouTube video in Safari today - closed it via home button and battery has drained ever since. Didn't realise what it was until you just said - iPhone 7 Plus here

It was the same on 10.2 release, battery on phone would go from 50% to 20% in less than 10 mins but coconut battery shows 50% still remaining, health would drop between 30-90%... at the moment it is showing 97%, coconut battery says 93.4% and 80% health. A hard reset usually fixes the battery. I'm going to have to take it to apple. Obviously restore back to 10.2.

Coconut battery??

Iphone 6s here still on 9.3.5, guess i'll never upgrade to ios 10, i mean i could but i don't want to lose 1% battery life each 2 mins (while on use). Battery life on ios 9 was never amazing but it has been the minimum decent so far.

BTW the Battery Pro app says: -0.4% Battery Wear Level after having the phone since end of 2015.
Is your 6s eligible for the Apple battery replacement program? If so get the battery replaced for free.

If you're consistently seeing Siri in battery usage, but don't use Siri, it could be voicemail transcription processes. It's still in beta, after all!

My 6S battery life and standby times seem to have noticeably improved over the past couple releases. I'm on the 10.3 beta.

iOS 10.3 beta 1

Light app usage. 13 minutes of music playing. Low power core from processor only. No low power mode.

10.3 is the best in terms of battery life within all iOS 10 updates.

Anyones battery life been shocking on iOS 10.2.1? Mines shocking, looses 10% over night and just about lasts 5 hours usage, whereas before hand it was amazing on battery and could last 9-10 hours of usage?

What I'm noticing is that my iPhone has completely lost its ability to detect its battery life at all. What I mean is it will drop in battery life from 88% to 73% in 10 minutes, then hover at 40% for like four hours, then drop to 3%, and then when I plug it in it reads that it currently has a 25% charge. It's absolutely bonkers.

Which iPhone model (and iOS version)?

Can be the sign of a battery with a lot of wear.

I would try a complete discharge then full charge to try an re-calibrate it though.
