Before that version I thought i saw 9s as the 2nd number but it may just be me but when I initially used it the case and earbuds were glitching by not disconnecting from the phone when they were in the closed case they don’t do that anymore so if anyone did not unbox theirs yet you mi have that version until they are used

I got mine yesterday and they do seem to sound good. The fit is also good. Not sure the anc is as good as my AirPods Pro, but I need to test side by side. The case is shockingly cheap and flimsy.

The case is shockingly cheap and flimsy.

This is unfortunate and very accurate.

Apple should be embarrassed to be associated in any way shape or form with this "case".
I've had knockoff AirPods in cases that were 3x the build quality of this.

The "hollow top" and pathetic tolerances on when it closes are just dreadful -- wobbles side to side.

I just got mine and need a few hours to test various uses. These are joining my lineup of AirPods Max and AirPods 3, and are replacing my Beats Studio Buds. But a few quick thoughts…
  • The grey is nice, and the case and buds feel good. I do wish I was cool enough to rock the Purple though.
  • I definitely enjoy the sound profile over both AirPods Pro and Beats Studio Buds. It’s like the took the best of both of those. Nothing is overpowering. Bass feels more alive. Spatial Audio sounds great.
  • ANC and Transparency are way better than Beat Studio Buds, and seem on par to what I remember AirPods Pro being (I don’t currently own a pair as they never fit well, but tested them several times)
  • IMO, similar to the Beats Studio Buds, content feels more dynamic and is more enjoyable to listen to with either ANC or Transparency On. Having both off is a flatter experience, though not as flat as the Beats Studio Buds.
  • The ability to swap Noise Control for Volume Controls is so freaking nice!
  • H1 pairing, syncing, swapping is magic of course
  • I passed the Ear Fit Test with the stock Medium tips, which will be more comfortable for me than the plugged up feeling larger tips can give me
  • Comfy so far, no slipping or moving or pain, but need more time!
Agree with all of this. The only (small) negative I have is that they don’t have the newly added custom transparency mode of the AirPods Pro. I became accustomed to using that recently. Not a deal breaker, but the only real feature i could find missing that matters (a little)

A little too easy to push the buttons while putting them on, but the button has nice play to it.
What headphones did you come from? When I moved from the AirPods Pro to beats studio buds I had this problem due to the way I was used to holding the headphones when putting them in.

It probably lasted a few days. With the fit pro accidental button pressing hasn’t been an issue so far. I’m used to pushing them in from the sides more than the front/button

To echo others thoughts……just picked up my pair in the sage green…

I currently own AP2 and APP. love the AP2 for general business use and phone calls. Actually prefer them for phone calls. Just so easy to put in and no need to “fit” them. APP for music listening In general and live them for flying.

The beats fit pro, only listening for 30 min so far but initial thoughts.
1) case is junk
2) fit is bang on and best fitting ear buds I’ve tried.
3) because of that shape, not the easiest to put in (but not hard)
4) like all of them tips make a huge difference. I needed the L like in both air pods
5) the BASS! I was always EQ’ing the APP for certain bands to get some more boost. This one not only sounds great but doesn’t sacrifice the mids and highs.
6) the stereo settings are for special audio sound way better than with APP unless there has been a firmware update for APP i don’t have that effects this.
7) these are tuned EXACTLY how I like my music. A little heavy on the bass but tight. Plus lots of treble. Don’t like warmer muddy sound. Like clean and crisp with more bass than normal.

I fly on Monday so I’ll know more about how well the transparency mode works compared to APP

Same. Me too.
They got the sound profile just perfect for me.

I don’t want “critically accurate and honest” in a product like this.

I want fun!

Also, think it will be beneficial for a lot that these are the standard tips (universal) and not Like Apple’s proprietary ones. I’m sure comply will be clutch on these if you need them.

This is my return to bluetooth TWS buds after my Solo Pro stopped producing reliable sound in the left cup and BeatsX wouldn’t hold a charge. Took a break after my 1st gen AirPods batteries gave out. Accidental button push isn’t much of an issue, more of an observation. Consistently seating the BFP correctly is more of an issue. Could be my ear shape.

That case is flimsy but I do like how it just flies open when I open it

i'm surprised, my beats studio buds case felt cheaper because of the matte plastic but the hinge and magnetic closure at least approached the satisfying snap of the airpods cases. the beats fit pro case doesnt seem to close as firmly and like some have mentioned there is some play.

the fit pro buds themselves are outstanding and far better than APP for me.

The beats studio buds case feels closer to the AirPods cases and snaps shut magnetically.
By the looks of it, the beats fit pro are similar to Powerbeats pro case, which was flimsy and when you shut it, you can’t tell 100% if it’s shut and you can jiggle the lid back and forth.

After having mine since Friday and comparing to the AirPods Pro. I believe I am returning them. I may be the 1% on this. Rationale for this,

• I tried all the silicon tips and even tried the spinfit tips and these still hurt my ears and won’t get a good seal
• to me, the transparency is not as clean as the AirPods Pro
• to me, noise cancellation isn’t as good either
• find my (AirTag like) feature doesn’t seem to be present like the new update AirPods Pro got
• wireless charging (not a big deal really)
• they don’t seem as loud as the AirPods Pro

I’m sure I could find some tips and also the rest of these features could possibly be fixed in a firmware update except wireless charging. It it feels like this was done on purpose to not fully replace the AirPods Pro. Like it’s a quarter step down. Not really even a half or whole step down cause they are good.

The sound quality is good but for me personally it’s just a slight difference with the AirPods Pro being more on the mid and lower end.

I may just return them and repurchase down the road when updates come and or the AirPods Pro 2 don’t launch next year

Maybe it’s me. Lol probably is

If you were to buy now buy the beats fit pro all the reviews say is it’s the exact same as AirPods Pro but for less also may fit better and if you did wait there’s probably not going to be much better than minor improvements

Yeah reviews have been great and it looks like BFP are APP reincarnated into a different form factor plus a slightly warmer, low-end enhanced sound signature. Almost bought APP on Sunday. Glad I didn't.
Read what I thought above
