Best Buy Pre Order for Series 4 Apple Watch?

Around 3:30 am launch night I ordered a Milanese from BB right after noticing the Sport Band SS on Apple’s site were showing Oct 5-12th delivery. I initially tried ordering a white sport band SS on BB’s site, but it wasn’t available. I kept trying and around 3:40 am it was finally available for pre order, so I ordered one of those as well. Fast forward to today, the SB SS shipped today and the Milanese is still processing.
If you preordered before the 21st, and your store doesn't have any in stock when you try purchasing today, find another store with some in stock, and reserve it.

The site is showing the one I want and ordered as delivery by 9-25. I may buy it again since that one actually shows a supposed delivery date. Then return or cancel the 2nd one etc. No stores within 250 miles have what I want. Silver 44 aluminum with loop.
I was able to walk in and get a black 44 stainless in stock. And received my 44 aluminum from them just now. Best Buy worked great for me. Verizon is a different story.
Don't know what all the gripe is about... every retailer has issues because they are NOT Apple!
Anyways... just picked mine up... sure an hour later than opening but still way earlier and easier than waiting for UPS to show up at that exact moment in time when I'm not around.
Looks like the majority of stores JUST got boxes in as they opened and thus needed to prepare them while opening the store. Went smooth for me. Keep lookin' people and just be a little patient and grateful you get a new piece of technology today!

Update: My card just got charged and I can no longer change or cancel my order. So it may actually ship by 9/21, even though it was originally supposed to deliver by 9/21. Anyway, do FedEx or UPS even deliver on Saturdays?
Well, I suppose. But I wasn't freaking out and getting disgruntled like some when this morning it wasn't ready right at 10am. I would've been ok with a delay even, as things happen. It has been an interesting launch for sure. But can't deny I'm happy to finally be upgrading my watch from S0!
my stainless steel went from will ship by 9/21 to reserving it. what a joke.... guess i won't know when ill get that watch at this point.
Been common at stores this morning. My store got a shipment last night and then this morning right at opening. My guess is the shipment is on the way. If you were guaranteed today my guess is the shipment will get there soon. Just gotta get all the trucks to the right places. So crazy this wasn't handled more efficiently though. That was my experience this morning at least...
The authorization just hit my card again. Hopefully some good news. Waiting for 40mm silver aluminum with sport loop. I originally had the ship by 9/21 message which also had changed overnight to shipping when ready.

Same combo I ordered, exact same confirmation time as well. Hopefully mine ships today too. Should be able to get it by Tuesday with 2nd Day Air.

Congrats on the upgrade! Man you will love it. I went from a S0 to the S3 last year and it is night and day. It truly made the S0 feel like the beta testing device that it is. So you'll see massive improvement with the S4.
I'm going on 3 hours since the change to preparing. But I'm confident shipping status is coming soon.
