Random question. Do they really require you to have the card on hand when you go to pick it up? I'm having a replacement BB card sent to me at the moment, so I don't have it. I don't recall having to have a card on me for other pickups

You don’t need to physically have the card to use card.

So there is no restocking fee for the GPS model, correct? I didn't even notice there was one for cellular models.

The chat reps are really laughable and I'm not sure they actually understand English. The one I talked to said both the same thing above about the manufacturer sending the inventory, and then simultaneously told me that my item was still showing get it by 9/21 and that I will have it according to the promised date. You can't say both that you have no idea when inventory will arrive, and that I'll have it today when it has yet to ship.

Yep. Hoping I get a notification that I can go pick it up today locally once the store opens. Ordered for in-store pickup yesterday when the date still said "Pick up 09/21" and my card has already been charged.

Usually they prefer you to, but if you can prove who you are otherwise (drivers license, etc.) you should be fine. I got a sour look last year when I picked up my S2 in-store without my BB card, but they don't care that much.

I ordered with Best Buy on Wednesday after pre-ordering last week with Apple. Apple delivery estimate was Oct. 12-15. Best Buy said Oct. 3rd. So I ordered with them thinking at least I would have it a week earlier and cancelled my order with Apple. Received notification this morning that the watch is ready for pick up today!

Called the local BB and they said there are very few Watches available per store this morning, but they're expecting additional stock later in the day and/or tomorrow. Cross your fingers, folks!

Ordered my Apple Watch on 9/18 and selected in-store pickup on 9/21. No change in order status yet, but spoke to a BB online rep who promised it would be ready for pick up today and is typically ready between 1pm and 5pm (picking up in Dallas, TX).

My online order from within 25 minutes of when preorders went live early am on 9/14 went from receive by 9/21 to ship by 9/21 to order received in the last few days. Today it is now charged and shipped. Tracking isn’t live. No idea if it will come today or next week.

Wow, mine arrived via FedEx at 9:30am, faster than I usually get items when I order from Apple. I have to say that I'm very happy with Best Buy getting it to me early on launch day. I hope all of the others having issues get theirs soon as well.

I can’t put a verdict in yet as I don’t know for sure if I will get mine today or not. I ordered via them first time ever instead of through Apple who I always do for phones because I had a $300+ gift card I wanted to use up.
