Best Buy Pre Order for Series 4 Apple Watch?

Nice! I’m going to give BBY until tomorrow to ship mine and then I’m calling and giving them some “feedback”.
They should have known before today that they weren’t going to be able to ship mine by the 21st like it said all week until this morning.
My gold SS with milanese 40mm just shipped and is delivering Monday. Prior to this it never had a date or anything.
Best Buy sucks...

They act like "cancelling our orders "if not fulfilled by Oct. 21" is doing us some sort of F#*$ing favor!? Numbskulls..
I did get both Xs Max phones from UPS today, also 4 new watch bands from amazon (ordered this morning), but alla my shitz ready to play... 'cept the watches... THANKS BB.

I just got my tracking number for my 40 mm Gold SS at 6:53 PM Central. I placed my order by 12:20 AM Pacific on 9/14. It is due to arrive UPS by Monday.

This process and lack of communication from Best Buy is frustrating. I did call bb and explained my frustration professionally. They said they are shipping them out as they get them could be tomorrow - 28th.
The only nice thing was they took 10 percent off my order! That’s like 80 bucks!
Ultimately I’m thinking this is apples fault on almost treating the store/warehouse like a consumer. They should have had product in the stores last week with a hold street date etc. drop shipping randomly to stores durning the days is crazy.
The days of apple secrecy is long over especially this year. They might as well have shipped them after all the images leaked.

What the hell does “reserving” actuallly mean. In a chat with Best Buy and it is like a broken record of complete nonsense
Still showing in the app as “Awaiting credit authorization”. I used the Best Buy Visa...and they show no preauth.
Anyone else have this? Been hanging like this for hours...a credit card can be authorized in about 1 nanosecond!
I do. They are not going to authorize the BB card until they ship.
I actually had a similar problem today...best buy changed my card from a store card to a visa and I didn’t realize it...I had to activate my new card for it to go through...
Like mine, it means "We're NOT shipping it yet". I realized going into this that BB is not very good with preorders and getting product out, but when it says "We'll ship it by Fri, September 21", then I expect that they ship it by Fri, September 21 (note: I did not expect to get it on the 21st, but I did expect it to ship on the 21st). My order has not shipped and that is what ticks me off with BB.
Although I am a Jayhawk, I will let that go in this moment for our shared Misery..
Ya, I am pissed bc if they would not have said that I could pick it up today, I would have ordered elsewhere. As simple as that. Their cavalier attitude about it pisses me off even more.

Im pretty ticked at Best Buy. The lack of communication is maddening. I have gone from nothing to will ship today to reserved to preorder received to now shipment delayed... the point of ordering at midnight on the 14th and their site saying deliver by 21st. Would make one assume you got in locked in for that date.
If Apples supply was that severely limited that they can't handle orders 5 mins into the preorder then maybe they shouldn't allow preorders at all... The last time I pre ordered from BB was a series 2 SS and the same thing pretty much happened from Best Buy. Granted they owned up to it and issues gift cards ASAP. Just so strange.
I saw 5 watches total at BB this morning at open. no stainless steel. Which makes me wonder if that model was in short supply from the start and over promised resellers. I was going to do Device payments thru Verizon but they didn't have any series 4 in Stainless Steel only sport available.
On a positive note best buys phone supply at my local store was really good they handled it really well. (minus no 512gb in store at all for general availability).

Well, to cover all my bases, I preordered from Apple as well. Says it will ship Oct. 22. So I still have my 2 orders in with Best Buy - one in store and one delivery - and an Apple order. Hmm, which will come first. BB is still saying 44mm Aluminum Sport ships Sept. 25 or pick up Sept. 28 on their website. Lets see if that one comes first.
Check your balance vs your limit and there's probably a hold on it for the purchase amount.
hey...just signed up quickly to let folks know some apple stores are now reserving pickup orders online...not all watches are available...I just reserved a 44mm SBSG aluminum (GPS only) @ the local apple store...once I pick it up I’ll cancel my preorder w/ bestbuy that was supposed to be available for pickup yesterday
Mine was shipped "UPS Air saver" They should call it "The Weekend Ruiner" really from Ohio to Wisconsin by air and they still need 3 days to do that?? WTH
