The case is a 1/16" Longer, 1/16 Deeper, 1/8" Wider. So not too noticeably more than the Otterbox I had.

1.The rubber is softer.
2. The power buttons and volume buttons are much easier than the Otterbox. They operate as Apple intended now.
3. The headphone jack is centered, and accommodates larger "headphone barrels".
4. The closing flap for the lightening port is a very easy to get open, and I worry that perhaps over time it may fall open freely.
5. The Touch id sensor is protected by a film, and it feels of better quality then the Otterbox. It does appear that it will NOT wrinkle like the Otterbox film did. The sensor works fine without needing a relearn process.
6. The lightening port is larger and wider and can accommodate my 10 foot aftermarket cable from Monoprice, which has a barrel wider and thicker than the OEM Apple cable.
7. There is protective plastic frame around the camera and flash.
8. Pulling up the control center is much easier with no plastic around the Touch Id sensor like on the otterbox. Hassle-free in a pinch.
9. There is protective fabric grill around the earpiece speaker to keep out dirt.
10. The proximity sensor during a phone call also works great.
11. The facetime camera is behind the plastic screen cover and appears at this time to not affect the camera quality.

I give this case 4.5 stars out of 5. My only concern is the lighting port flap could should require more effort to open to keep it from falling open by mistake.

Here is a collection of 16 pics that I took and uploaded to my website. Feel free to download them and look for yourselves.

How's the clarity of the screen protector? I've seen a video for this case on YouTube and the protector looked a bit cloudy.

Yes I heard about it but did not pay attention to the brand as my friend recommended me the Otterbox which is very bulky and Griffin which is much better

My iblason armor box just came in the mail today.

First impressions are its hiiiiideous, but very sturdy.

I don't know if it is a virtue of how thin the 6+ is, or good design on their part, but it fits quite sveltely. I don't usually run tough cases, but this one feels about 30% slimmer then the defender I ran on my IP5.

Really feels protective. There is rigid plastic over all stress points of the phone, and the screen protector blends well. No bubbles, or effect on usability (so far). The port flaps, are a nice touch as well.

Things I don't like are the cheesy half assed design on the back, the gigantic cut out for the camera, and the way it fits the phone seems like it could cause scratches. Also I wish I didn't go black on gold. The top lip does not encompass the whole white portion of the bezel. It really stands out. Wish I would have went blue or some other color.

Over all though good buy. I paid around $10 for it so I cannot complain. It seems to serve it's purpose admirably, and does offer decent tensile strength to prevent bending.

I will run this until the dust clears, and the case manufacturers get some more time to refine the design.

TL DR

Good case for the money. Not at all bulky for tough case. Few rough edges on design.

It mutes the screen crispness a little, no more than any screen protector that I have had before. But it looks good in the case. I believe in my pics, I had one of the screen.

Thanks, is the rubber part soft & "gummy"? Is it a dust and lint magnet? How is it to get in and out of a pocket?

I like to change cases on the weekends. Use a tough case for work and change to a slim case on the weekends. I have a Zagg HDX front and rear protector. Will this case fit an iPhone with front and rear protection?

I just got the pelican protector case and I love it! Fits very snug on the plus and looks like it'll more than protect it when I drop it. Not bad for $40 and it looks pretty cool too! Att store has plenty to go around

Thanks for the info I am going to order one and see if I like it more than the otterbox defender

I now have both the griffin and the otterbox. I prefer the overall feel of the otterbox. The slimness works well in the pocket and it seems to me thet it provides slightly better overall protection.

But, I am now typing this with the griffin installed and the touch screen ability and responsiveness is night and day. The otterbox is being returned. Perhaps they will address the issues with the screen. Perhaps I am now a griffin convert.

My 4 and 5 lived in the otterbox. But as I continue to use this griffin, I appreciate the ability to actually use the phone more and more.

I don't feel the rubber is too soft or gummy. Nothing like the iphone 4 otterbox which gathered every bit of lint and practically adhered to your pocket lining.

Just picked up an incipio Dual Pro from the Verizon store ($30) and feels really good so far.

Detailed impressions after some use :)

I agree. I got a few iPhone 6 cases and the DualPro is my favorite. Looks great, appears to have very nice protection and the grip is great. First case where the phone doesn't feel like it's going to slip out when typing 1 handed.
