I've ordered the case-mate Tough.

I really liked it on my iphone 5 and 5s, so I have my hopes up for this one.

Good, decent protection, without too much bulk

Case-Mate Tough for iPhone 6 Plus

I went with the case mate tough as well, because I've used Case mate for years, and this one is double layered, and surprisingly, not bulky at all. The inner layer is very soft, and the outer layer is not too hard, but soft enough for grip.

I'll use my Vaja leather case for around town, around the house etc. - because I love leather. But when I travel or expect to do more active things I'll switch to the Case mate. Very nice!

Oh, and the bottom is protected.

That looks good. Does it have much of a lip protruding past the glass? I need a decent case after my first iPhone 6 smashed on its first drop!

This one:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Spigen-Capsule-Crystal-SOFT-FLEX-SGP10940-Clear/dp/B00JH882JW

It's a nice, slim case, though it is slightly smooth. Maybe I was extremely unlucky but it didn't protect my iPhone from a 3 feet drop.

dammit looking at the lip specs on that case shows that the lip is around the same range as the Tough Armor case made by the same company. I have that case and thinking of returning it because the lip is to small. I also have the Ultra Hybrid which seems just as low. Guess i'll have to buy the Speck Candyshell grip. Very disappointed in Spigen this year.

What screen protector is this? It looks nice!

My Griffin survivor all terrain for my 6+ should be here in the next day or two. It will def. add bulk to the phone but I'm willing to sacrifice that for what is most likely the best protective case currently available.

I have try spigen tough armor for my ip6. its's nice but I worry to use my phone. Don't feel safe with it.

Now I use now Griffin survivor all terrain (with a Muvit tempered glass inside) and i feel realy safe to use my phone everywhere. I realy need good protection because i am always in montains.

Did the Muvit tempered glass fits well with the Griffin Survivor? no gaps or extra space between the two?

Did you cut out the griffin screen protector? The plastic piece seems to add rigidity and keeps the phone in he back of the case.

Yes, the Muvit tempered glass fits well and I did't cut the griffin screen protector. I need it to protect against rain. Here is a picture :

Ballistic Tungston from Best Buy

Not the prettiest case but the protection is great. I'm looking at other options but this was the best I could find initially for the level of protection I want. Rated for drops up to 7ft.

Supcase Unicorn Beetle comes with a holster, port plugs, and built in screen protector for $20.

Their iPad cases have gotten hundreds of positive reviews on Amazon.

I order one today. Looks like it's a pretty good case from the reviews. Currently I'm using the Spigen Tough Armor (TA) on my iPhone 6. On my iPhone 5s I ran the TA along with the Glass.tr and I dropped my phone a couple of times and it protected my 5s. I don't feel as confident with the Tough Armor for the iPhone 6. Maybe if it had a slightly more raised lip and a full cover Tempered Glass.tr I would feel more confident if I accidentally dropped my phone.

I have this case and the more I look around the more I love this case. My short list has been Speck (eyeing the grip) and Otterbox (considered Urban Armor but not much lip protection from pics) but this may become either my permanent case or my backup.

For those worried about lip protection/coverage these pics show just how much coverage you get in the corners of the screen.

The only downsides for me are the hard back is slippery and best buy's version does not come with a holster and the charging port cover is flimsy which is not an issue to me.

The pros are that it truly feels like it would survive twice the advertised drop distance which again is 7ft and the width isn't increased by much and it's a darn sturdy phone and coming from otterbox I'd say this could survive corner drops better.

Regarding otterbox comparison I've had otterbox on my 4S, 5, and 5S and only thing I miss is actual coverage around home button at bottom and around the top. As I've said the ballistic has an amazing lip coverage where it peaks around the corners but should it fall face first onto rocks then may wanna invest in a tough screen protector.

I've dropped my phones several times and I've never dropped a phone face first onto an uneven surface so not that worried.

Can't recommend this case enough and considering it's also at best buy most people should be able to check it out.

Ballistic has a variety of cases on their website and amazon for the 6 and hoping they do the same cases for the plus as the hard case has my name all over it.

I also considered Griffin but heard the screen protector isn't as flush as it should be and some but not all have had issues with sound quality and worried about the size. For those who were in same boat for the plus I'd recommend looking at ballistics site and look at their six cases and do as I did and write to them asking for those same cases for the plus.

The corner protection on this case has to be seen to be believed. It's that good.

How soon before you do that and post pics?:D

So I did end up cutting out the otterbox plastic and now I have the otterbox case sans plastic with a zagg tempered glass screen protector installed.

For me this is the best of both worlds. I can put up some pics if anyone is interested. I need to wait for my wife to get home though, can't take picture of my phone with my phone.

This could be an option for anyone who likes the otterbox case but wants to also spend another 30 bucks on top of the already expensive otterbox and also invest an hour or so of aggrevating glue removal and screen installation.

I'm undecided between the Incipio DualPro or the CaseMate tough. They both look pretty rugged without being overly bulky, I do need drop protection though. We in the UK are fairly limited at the moment with decent cases.

I just got the DualPro and I can't believe how slippery it is. I usually sit my phone on the arm of my leather lounger and it will not stay. The weight of the phone in the case causes it to creep slowly, then gain speed, and slips off the arm. Going back.
