Best iPhone X Cases [MERGED]

I was able to find this case when I bought my iPhone X yesterday, so far I love it, it has room for 2 credit cards, 1 for photo id and a place to store some cash. Glad I found a case I liked right away as I found the glass covered phone was so slippery in my hand I forsee a lot of phones falling if at least a back case is not used.

Clear Tozo case with the silver rim looks awesome on the silver X but the sides of mine are loose. Contacted the seller on amazon and they’ll be sending me another one in a couple days, will update if that one fits better. Probably my favorite clear case I’ve ever used since it avoids that bulky halo effect around the bezels so I’m really hoping the fit on the next one is better. It works with 3D glass screen protectors, I just messed up the install on mine so I replaced it with a 2.5 one until I can get some more of the 3Ds.

I have the Otterbox Symmetry case on my iPhone X I know some people think the lip around the bottom is in the way but it hasn't been an issue for me thus far. So far I like it!

It went right on, no problem at all every little if any force necessary at all. I put the volume button side in first, then the opposite side bottom corner and then finally the upper corner and just pushed it into the case easily. I put an otterbox symmetry case on my moms iPhone 8 and in comparison the one on my iPhone X went on easier than the one on the 8!
The one I put on my moms iPhone 8 I had to really force it on and I thought something was wrong and almost gave up on it but I did finally get the phone in the case without damage (thank goodness) but I am dreading ever having to take her case off for her. I didn't have to put much pressure on it at all to get the X case on, but I haven't tried to take it off so we will have to see how that goes.

Pretty much, but clear. Caudabe lucid clear with a front lip but cutout at bottom would be ideal
Thinking about getting the Mous leather case. Anybody ever have any experience with their cases before? Seems to be the only protective leather case on the market right now.

Posted in the other thread but here’s a coupon for this weekend only. If you’re still on the fence about the lucid clear, get it. It really lets the phone shine through. I ordered another one to have as back up just in case it scratches or turns yellow.

I’ve had this experience with all speck cases in the past. It’s loke forcing your phone down into a bunker. Extremely difficult to get on and off.
[doublepost=1509889149][/doublepost]Here’s what I’ve decided (for now). I don’t want a “nice” case. When I need protection I want the case to actually be grippy and have good drop protection. Aka at the gym or when my daughter is trying to find/take my phone. Or when I’m runnning outside or something. Y’all get the idea. When I feel in a safe situation then I will go naked because I love using the phone how it was intended. This is the best iPhone to hold and use ever. Grippy(for me) glass and no sharp edges anywhere. I love it.
With that being said the minimal or leather cases don’t fit into either of these scenarios as much as I would like them to.
My plan at this point is to get a tech 21. Still slim but 10 foot of drop protection. Plenty of drop videos out there proving this. Hope to get one today and will post pics.
It’s between the Evo check and the tactical. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with these?

Thanks. Ordered. We'll see if it works out. But at $5.99 it's a bonus if it does and no big if it doesn't... I'm sure I'll find a friend or neighbor that could us it so won't go to waste.
I fully recommend Tech21 cases. I had the same one on my old 6S+ for 2 years and I have the current Evo Check on my IPX Silver.
For the Evo Check, both colors are great and the grip/drop protection is stellar without adding tons of bulk.
I Purchased the OtterBox statement case from Apple on the night of pre-orders. It's half clear on the back with some leather. I bought the black one. I have the same exact case on my iPhone 7 Plus and I loved it. It looks nice against the black of the phone and it offers great drop protection. I have dropped my 7+ plenty of times and the the phone was well protected. The glass screen protector cracked. On the 7+ I thought the case was too bulky but on the iPhone X I think it fits perfectly and it does not get in the way of the gestures.
I've had many cases on my various iPhones for last 10 years and I am extremely pleased with this case. I love the feel and the protection of the OtterBox statement series that is sold exclusively right now at Apple. I highly suggest you check it out.

What are your recommendations for a case for the X that:
- Has a microfibre lining (like the Apple's cases do)
