Get a Clear case with protection from Spigen and Screen Protector from them, because It's just not worth when you buy such an expensive device and you try to hide its beautiful design by using a cover or "Protect" it. Today or tomorrow it will have scratches and all. It's like buying Ferrari and buy a car cover and drive Ferrari around while it's cover with car cover to protect it from dust and micro scratches.

I always get this case for my iphones.

it's as slim as the usual slim cases, but it also wraps around the corners and covers every edge, which i love.

Most other slim cases leave the top and bottom edges exposed, and i had the misfortune of dropping a previous phone right on the exposed edge :(

I bought the Otterbox Symmetry. I wasn’t playing around. It was $39.99. I didn’t mind paying a little extra for an Otterbox guarantee. The case isn’t bulky and extremely solid. Well worth it on my new beauty.

when i was younger i was an otterbox person. I have grown to take care of my phones. The apple leather case does not do well on drops. I prefer the silicone case, but i will also get a leather case.

my 7 plus case did just split a few days right where the button meets on the side, i never quite figured out why

Noooo. No case. I've never used a case on any of my iPhones and I never will. Especially with my silver X. This phone is far too beautiful, both to look at and touch, to hide away inside a cheap piece of plastic.

I went with an under a four wallet case. It’s not terribly sexy but it does what I need it to; it holds four cards and some cash if need be.

I got the Evutec nylon case. It has a tactical ballistic nylon look and feel and it comes with a magnetic mount for the car and wireless charging still works!

Question for you guys/gals regarding the Spigen cases - specifically, Tough armor vs. the slim armor.

The tough armor has a more angular design where as the slim case is more rounded. I'm wondering which is more holdable, or less slippery.

Any thoughts on either case? I'm still reading through all 38 pages, but any info will be helpful

Edit:
Oh and does the tough armor increase the bulk of the phone too much??

I opted just to order it. Amazon had them for about 17 bucks, so its not much of a gamble. If I don't like the heft of the square edges of the tough armor, I'll order the slim armor. I should get the case sometime tomorrow

Will you post a pic of the Ghostech when you get it please?

As promised. :)

PROS: Nice and solid but not too bulky - looks slimmer than stock photos. The coloured corners are a nice touch, as is the diamond pattern along the top of the rear. Sides also have the diamond pattern which gives a secure grip. Generous lip to protect the screen face down.

CONS: I don't like the logo being so prominent on the rear. The buttons, although solid, aren't quite as tactile as my Spigen - they're a bit mushy and have a slight amount of flex to them. It looks prone to getting loose around the lightning port over time.

Got it for £10 on eBay. I think it's good for this price point, but wouldn't pay RRP.

You're only one accidental phone drop away of making Apple $550 richer :D

It's not that hard to not drop your phone. :)

I've upgraded every year since the original. I don't drop my phones. When it's in my hand, I'm cognizant of the fact that it's an expensive piece of electronics and I treat it as such. (For example, when I'm in a crowd, I'm conscious about the act of pulling from my pocket, I hold on to it with a more deliberate grip, etc). I have friends that clearly treat theirs like a tv remote ... and that's fine! We all have our own way of living with the things we own. :)

This is my 11th iPhone, not a drop yet. The one time I damaged an iPhone, a case wouldn't have mattered: it was my 3GS, about a week and a half before the 4 came out. It went into my washing machine. Only for about 30 seconds, but that was enough for the detergent-water to get into the device and wreck it. Alas.

Definitely a no go for the spec ultra. Two pieces didn’t even fit well together and cause it not to lay flat. Back in the envelope it goes and it’s being returned to Amazon. Actually going to pick up a defender in an hour or so from my local AT&T. We are going away tomorrow and I wanted something a little more heavy duty for when I’m at Disney World
