Do you think a thinner, film style screen protector would let you place it face down?

I have a very thin glass screen protector and the lip is just barely enough to keep it elevated above the table. I'd assume most film screen protectors would be the same.

I picked up these cases at a closing Sams Club. $7.47 each.

Incipio Octane looks like a good one for those who think the Presidio Grip goes overboard with the grip on the back (getting snagged in pockets etc.)...

Looks thin, & has grippy grooves around all edges.

I have the blue one.

Your right, sides are decently grippy. Back is slick as snot. Has good buttons, tight fitting. Pretty good case. Definitely not one of my favorites but you nailed it in saying the Presidio Grip is overboard. Presidio Grip turns my pockets inside out upon removal LOL.

I like the look of this one and it’s less than $13 on Amazon. Gotta pick it up at that price. What Case would you compare it to?

Hi Guys
I am new to this forum and looking for some help. I have an iPhone X which is currently protected by an Otterbox Strada case. I had a similar one with my 6S and it worked perfectly. However, with the iPhone X, I am getting complaints that my voice sounds indistinct and muffled, when taking/making calls, with the cover folded back. If I do not fold it back the clarity improves, but it is an uncomfortable way to take a call. I have contacted Otterbox, who say that it is a known problem caused by the magnetic cover, 'confusing' the iPhones mic. I have read that the expensive Apple case, also has the same problem.

I do not want to use a screensaver but do want screen protection. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which case to purchase, as I intend to return the Otterbox Strada. Has anyone else come across this issue, and if so, how do I get around it. Are there leather/leatherlike cases, without magnetics in them, as they may be the problem. Any help/guidance, would be much appreciated.

Not sure what it reminds me most of. Kind of like the Speck Candyshell maybe slick backed but good buttons. Candyshell coverage a little better I believe though.

Are there any other cases besides Pitaka, Evutec, and Nillkin that have built in magnets placed around the wireless charging coil?

I received the Pitaka Magcase (black/grey plain color) last Friday. I love the minimalist, slim style of the case with the open button and open top/bottom areas, but this thing is a finger print, smudge magnet. At first, it was a minor annoyance, but I find myself wiping the case off quite often. More than any other case I’ve had. This must be the nature of the case material or it’s just me. My skin is dry, especially in the winter and not that oily. Not sure if I’m going to keep it or not…

That being said, which similar minimalist, slim style cases do you recommend? I was thinking the Spigen Thin Fit, which is a similar style. Or the Spigen Liquid Air for some added protection.

yes, check out the mous case. Offers superior protection, and a variety of real back materials.

I have had the black leather on my X the last 2 weeks. Amazing case

Using the Caudabe Sheath case with iCarez 3d screen protector...

Great deal! The Presidio grip is the best case out there as far as I’m concerned. Great grip, solid protection, and not much added bulk.

I just shelled out 40 bucks for one...
