I was thinking about setting this one up too, but decided to go with 2 finger up to activate Spaces. I like to have 9 spaces so I was finding it more work to tab through them all as opposed to seeing all the spaces and clicking on the one I want.

I have a feeling Im going to be changing this often! ;)

Yeah, if I had 9 spaces I'd agree with you, I'd rather set one gesture to activate Spaces. But I only have 3 spaces, one next to each other, so my current setup is perfect. I have a simple setup (space 1 for internet/work, space 2 for communications (iChat, Mail, etc), space 3 for entertainment (iTunes, DVD Player, etc). :)

I love seeing how others have spaces set up. Its usually the same concept but its so useful.

I recently hooked up my external 19 monitor to my new iMac and noticed some of the gestures for external monitors like throw window to external or maximize on external, I might give those a try. Although the only thing I ever put on my external monitor is Windows 7 so I might not need those gestures.

As Dof said, you dont want to add to many, there is no way you will ever use them all.

When this mouse first came out I was saying it should be like 2 inches wider, I think having a little more real estate would really open up the possibilities. I wonder if the developer has any ideas about implementing special gestures like a circle finger movement could be refresh or crap like that. It doesnt all have to be tap, swipe or click, does it?

is there a way to get both two finger and one finger scrolling back while using this tool? After install I can only use one finger. I actually tend to use both.

Another thing - I'm trying to use the pinch gestures. In and out..but can't seem to get them to work. Help?

You can't have both two-finger swipe up/down and multiple-finger scrolling at the same time.

To get it back simply delete any two-finger swipe up or down gestures you might have.

One reason I almost didn't get a mighty mouse was because there was no middle click, which I used for opening links in a new tab. It is great when you read sites like engadget that post a lot of stories but only 3-5 might be worth reading on a page. Just go down the list and click click click, to open them in a new tab in the back ground. This was a hard transition when I got the MM.

I've now enabled 1 finger Tap (not click) as the "middle click" button.

This is so great! Thanks :)

I love your sig... iBeast! How fitting. I absolutely love my i7!

I added TipTap left and right for RW and FF and it is working flawlessly. Much more consistent than three finger swipe left and right.

I have since changed Three finger swipe right and left to be Application Switcher but was hoping Id be able to assign the keyboard shortcut of Command tab which auto switches to the last application you were in, I would prefer that but when I try to assign the shortcut it does what its supposed to do and attempts to switch apps.

Anyone figure out how to enter and of the modifier keys for shortcuts? I wouldnt mind being able to do an Option tab and Command tab.

Go into the Keyboard prefpane in System Preferences and go to the Keyboard Shortcuts tab. In there, you can disable any keyboard shortcuts. Simply disable it, then input the shortcut in BTT, then re-enable it. Voila!

VERY NICE!! This should open some extras up for me... Im all about keyboard shortcuts. Thanks ravenvii!

By the way, I just got an update to BTT. Looks like the dev added 4 finger swipe up and down as well as 4 finger click. I havent tried them out yet so I cant speak to how well they work.

I feel like I am taking cray pills. I am trying to set up an option for control clicking and can't figure out how to do it. :( Help Guise!

Edit: I figured it out it was in the regular preference page.

Is there a way to set up the tip tap to switch between tabs in safari?

I personally dont have mine set up like that but have seen others list that in their configs. I bet there is a keyboard shortcut for tab switching. Then in the pref pane add Safari as an Application then select TipTap as the gesture and add the keyboard shortcut. Should work that way.

Here is the Safari keyboard short...

Not sure what it is... I thought ^ was the control key, but when I try that shortcut it doesnt switch tabs. Anyone get this to work?

Now I just tipTap and it changes tabs. I cant seem to find the shortcut for Firefox though.

^ The tip tap improves with newer releases. It was a pile of hurt at first. Now it's quite awesome to use. I'm getting used to it and learning to adjust my settings as I have three finger tap to open a new tab ... it is often triggered in error.

Yeah, I trigger a lot of shortcuts in error now. Im trying to think about these logically and not assign things I seem to do accidentally. I recently added a gesture to my MBP and love it. Single finger tap upper right corner now triggers Spaces but Ill be damned if I dont trigger it when typing somehow. Im barely touching it. I think I have to play around with the pressure on that one.
But using a utility like this, I almost expect some of these issues.

How did you get it set up brah?

Select the gesture in the left hand drop down, the click into the keyboard shortcut field and perform the actual keyboard shortcut. It will automatically populate the shortcut into the field. Make sense?

Yeah I did try it... I tried the command+shift+ left and it wouldn't work

Hmmm, not sure what the deal is there Max, sorry man. Mine works pretty well. Post up a pic of your pref pane.

Will do when I get home. Maybe I haven't mastered the tip tap gesture as of yet. I appreciate you helping out iMerlin!

Hey, no problem Max.
Yeah, It takes a while to get used to tiptap. Its one of the harder gestures to perform IMO. Not to mention its still inconsistent for me also.

I didn't restart BTT
