Thats what I want. Really. But we can't create a lawsuit unless many IPP 10.5 users reporting their screen spot issue worldwide. Another problem is this issue usually acknowledged by the user after 1 year out of their warranty. Also Apple releases their new IPP 11 and 12.9 gen, which lower the sales of the 10.5 more. Seems difficult for us to sue Apple for this. I hope there is a miracle for this screen design issue.People who are out of warranty need to stop paying Apple to repair this design flaw. Speak to a manager, make a stink out of it at the store, call senior advisors, escalate to customer relations. We all know that Tim Cook won’t do crap until a class action lawsuit hits him
Btw, I just came to the Genius Bar and the guy who talked with me is kind of funny but spoke the reality about this problem. It seems he acknowledges this issue but he can't do anything about it. He said to me, "If you want to replace your iPad with lower cost, you can use your iPad and drain its battery until its broke, then you pay the battery replacement program which is much cheaper than replacing the screen itself. You know? We can't tear down the iPad display, so you will be given a new (refurbished) iPad as you change your iPad battery. No need to pay right now. Just use your iPad more until the battery is bad, then replace it, so you can be happy. While so, you can check for screen replacements program from Apple, see if you are lucky to have it one day"
Funny, but yeah its the most realistic way to overcome my disappointment right now. I am relieved to hear that suggestion from him, even though I can't replace my iPad now
