Other Canada iPhone 12/12 Pro/12 Pro Max (2020) Pre Orders

I canceled my Reservation decided to wait for the max Pro Im use to the bigger size now and I really want the better camera setup Hopefully the next 3 weeks fly by :)

I really like it. It’s thin TPU, not hard and fits well. There’s a little texture on the inside so it doesn’t stick to the phone. Great for the price.

When do they update the stock for apple store reservation? In Calgary both stores have no stock of 13 pro

When do you guys order it for pickup? Any specific time when the update the stock availability?

They’ll actually set it up in store. It’s a QR code that they scan to add the sim # in. If you want to do it yourself, most carriers have instructions on their website, but they’re usually happy to do it without charging extra.
Then it’s in the phone and you have a physical sim slot open for travel (or I use it for my business line).

Did you just buy an unlocked phone and asked them for a esim or you upgraded your carrier plan at apple store?

Check every morning at 8 AM. No offence, you made a huge mistake not pre-ordering or showing up in line on Friday, you'll be waiting awhile. The fact an order for delivery is well into mid-November gives you an idea on how long you will need to wait.

I see, i thought Apple store was offering free e sim, I switched to e sim last year and Telus store charged me $20 for it.
 
Yeah, there’s a cost for the esim. But normally they charge $35 to activate it, but they’re not charging the higher price right now. Yet.

Yes, that’s the best time to check, but I noticed that stock levels may not be accurate. Yesterday, I wanted to get an iPad Air 4th gen. All stores in the GTA didn’t show stock for any models, except Mapleview, but went to Eaton Centre and they had stock of all model except black. I ended up getting the blue 256GB. Expensive weekend, with the iPhone I got Friday. And now the accessories....
 
I took my phone over to Fido to switch me to an esim on Saturday, no line, in and out in 5 or so minutes, they charged me $10 to do the change.

I preordered unlocked direct from Apple as soon as the store opened and FedEx is deliberately holding my phone until Wednesday as Apple didn't pay them for faster shipping.... Hopefully yours gets delivered soon.

if you travel, it’s nice to pick up a local sim for cheaper rates. Or like me, I have my business line on my phone as well so I don’t have to carry 2 phones.
 
So this is odd, I picked up my phone on Friday and today I noticed Apple refunded me back for the purchase. Apple acknowledged my pick up via the App and email. Should I contact apple or just wait to see if they correct the problem?
Has this happened to anyone else?

I have found the roaming esim easier and cheaper. However I understand if you are juggling a business line personal and travel.
 
Today I was able to find the Pacific Blue iPhone 12 Pro at my local apple store. So reserved it and picked it up

Still not sure about my decision. I'll use of for a week or so and see how good the camera is compared to my Pixel 4 XL. If I'm convinced it's already on par with it, I'll keep it. Otherwise I'll return it

I prefer iOS to android though.
 
Hey guys! I woke up early as soon as I could pre-order the new iPhone 12 Pro. The order has STILL been processing. I am in Thunder Bay ontario. I tried asking apple but they just keep saying that my delivery date is now mid november. Anyone have any ideas why it is STILL processing and why others have theres already?

When did you order the phone, was it on the first day (Fri Oct 16th?) When you pre-ordered, what did the delivery date estimate say? The people who already have there's were the ones that typically ordered within the first 30-60mins after 9am ET on Fri Oct 16th.

I ordered it as soon as the store opened. The delivery estimate said Nov 5-13
