I ordered it as soon as the store opened. The delivery estimate said Nov 5-13
Same for mine I ordered at the store. I really wish I didn't!
The store doesn't know when they will get stock...
I'm not sure what day it was when you could order "from the store" - I think it was only after they became available (which was last Fri Oct 23rd). But the vast majority of people on this thread ordered online (either through website or via the Apple Store app) as soon as pre-orders went live which was a week earlier (Fri Oct 16th at 9am ET).

If you ordered in the store, then it was basically a full week after pre-orders were possible (when most ppl on this thread ordered). So not surprising your delivery estimate is well into November now. For certain models, after a few hours, delivery estimates were already into this week and next week.

I have preordered the 12 Pro pacific blue on Oct 20th. I’m still waiting for my order to ship.

In the meantime there are a few graphite iPhones in stock in my area. I’m so close to cancel my preorder and pick up the graphite one. But each time I look some pacific blue pictures, I tell myself that I can wait a little longer 😢

The blue is SO good. If you had your eye on it...wait!!

Hi, I preordered 12Pro Blue 128 from Apple on 16th. The delivery estimate is 3 - 10 Nov, but still in processing. Anyone else have the same dates and got the delivery!? .

I see, I was thinking coz it’s blue it’s getting delayed. So it’s the same with other colours as well. My friend got his 12 on 23rd, which was preordered on same day, I’m still waiting...

128 12 Pro Blue, Nov 2-5. Was in processing until last evening. Shipped this morning on FedEx. It's in PA. My wife's 12 arrived on the weekend from UPS.

I think the 128gb 12 Pro Pacific Blue was probably the tightest in terms of supply/demand balance, heard anecdotally those were the first to have delivery dates start getting pushed back on pre-order date (Oct 16th).

I ordered mine on Oct 20. I just hope I´m gonna get mine next week. My carrier started selling the graphite iPhone 12 Pro in store. It probably means that all preorders for that particular model are fulfilled. Silver, gold and pacific blue are still unavailable for in-store purchase.

From what I’ve seen on Reddit, some people that have ordered the iPhone 12 Pro on Oct 20 are getting their shipping confirmation from Bell. I’m not with Bell, but it give a rough idea of how the carriers are progressing with the preorders.

How long usually takes for the order to be shipped once Apple gets your money ?
Yesterday it was debited on my card. I ordered it on pre- launch day and the estimate is nov 9
Did Anyone get the iPhone earlier then the estimated date?

Did you notice if Apple got your money already? Usually they get the money when they are closer to shipping, at least was like that in the past

I got this one by ESR to hold me over until leather cases are released:

I really like it. It’s thin TPU, not hard and fits well. There’s a little texture on the inside so it doesn’t stick to the phone. Great for the price.
I got the same ESR too and it looks really nice

Fellow Canadians, should we expect any good carrier deals in the coming weeks (Black Friday or Cyber Monday perhaps)?

I have a low cost data plan so I might just buy an iPhone 12 directly through Apple, but open to signing up if there’s a good subsidized plan.

With the transition to financing in Canada, it’s very unlikely. I’ve been out of the industry for over a year now, but I do know that carriers are less inclined to offer deals/discounts/gift cards in this new wireless era

I was fortunate to have both. I didn’t think much of graphite coming from space grey last year. It’s a bit of a lighter colour.

however after going hands on with both phones for a week now, the one thing that really brought me around to the graphite was how it handled finger prints. On the pacific blue they are obvious, oily, and they build up finger grease unless you clean them consistently throughout the day with a microfibre cloth. I have pretty clean hands as I’m in a line of work where I need to be washing them quite regularly. They’re really bad on the Pacific Blue but much more subtle on the graphite model. I was very pleased and surprised by that. It’s likely because the darker colour subdues the oil or something.

I decided to return them an opt for the mini or the pro Max now, but I can say I was surprised that I preferred the graphite colour in the end, and this will be the colour I order for the Pro Max along with Gold to try out

So having lived in both the US and Canada, it's a common complaint that the Canadian wireless industry is much less competitive than the US (and you can always argue larger land-mass, lower population density as being a reason why). Bottom line though is that our plans are usually worse.

That being said, there's the interesting phenomenon in Canada that maybe once a year, a carrier puts out a crazy good deal for a short-period of time, and the rest of the big-3 (Rogers, Bell and Telus) match.

Right now, there's a crazy good deal if you have access to an EPP plan (employer sponsored). $50 for 20gb "unlimited", which includes 5G. Rogers started it earlier this week, and Bell/Telus match yesterday. It's good until tomorrow (Oct 31). Check out the RFD forums for more info, but if you have access to an EPP through your company, this is way cheaper than current available plans (the best in-market plan is $75 for 20gb unlimited).

I don't think Black Friday or Boxing Day deals will get better than this. I just switched to Telus to this plan after being with Rogers for 6years (and being on a pretty good $60 / 15gb plan, not unlimited, but also no 5G access).

Yes, I think I saw that thread on RFD.

But I suppose it’s really only beneficial if you use a lot of data. That $50 plan is good if you don’t need a new phone.

I have 6gb plan at $35/mth. which is enough for me. Now I just need a deal on the iPhone. 🙂

Rogers currently has 30 gb for $85, unlimited including 5g access.

Because deals like this come out in Canada every year or so, all the more I find benefit in buying the phone outright from Apple. Then can switch between carriers as great plan opportunities arise. I didn’t used to until the iPhone X 3 years ago. i did this time with the 12 Pro for me and my wife, and will likely continue to do so.

As long as you can afford the liquidity hit of dropping ~$1,500 each upfront (which hurts even if you can afford it!), it’s better to do so in my opinion, so yiu can get the best wireless deals BYOD.

Has anyone noticed when adding Credit Cards into Apple Pay that Chinese Transit passes are also populating? My region is Canada and I have no idea why I'd be seeing them.

Yeah I saw that on my gf’s phone yesterday. Don’t know why 🤷🏼‍♂️
