Yes it’s normal. You’ll get a pickup notification sometime between Thursday afternoon and early Friday morning, whenever the store staff gets to processing the orders.

Howd you get the Tracking details? For me the tracking number is all Xs except the last 4 digits.
If you sign up/sign in to your account it should give you more details

On an interesting note, it looks like in-store pickup for both the 12 and 12 Pro are no longer available. Wonder if it’s because they have too many preorders for in-store pickup already such that they can’t take any more out of concern for the safety of store staff and customers during COVID.
You guys out west are lucky to have so many Apple Store options; we only have on here in all of Atlantic Canada, and it's in Halifax lol

Probably, but I'm 'forced' to use Apple's store if I want to get any of the small EPP discounts my employer provides
if you try to do a reservation, it says that product reservations to buy an iPhone are disabled until 5am PDT April 24
I mean, there isn't an apple store between Winnipeg and Calgary, or between Winnipeg and London

Not sure how you guys are seeing this on UPS. I’m getting mine delivered to my office in Concord on Friday and I can’t get any tracking info. Are you guys using your order number from Apple that starts with a W or are you using your number or both?
I have three reference numbers, one being my full phone number (including the starting '1'). The other two don't seem to match anything in my order info, including the order number
I tried my phone number with the 1 in front of it and nothing. I’ve tried the apple order number that starts with the W and nothing either. Any ideas?
Are you sure you are using 'Track by Reference Number'? Phone number should be ten digits only.
