Phone is still preparing for shipment as well. Delivery is supposed to be Oct 23rd. Still not showing a new iPhone 12 Pro under my device list either.

You can apparently still do this over on the US thread... they were tracking flights. I remember doing that for my S2 Apple Watch!
Yeah it seems the US bound shipments can be tracked by reference on the UPS website, but I haven't seen any Canadian orders show up there yet. Seems we might just get tracking once the phones are in the country.
ya seems they bulk ship them from China to UPS in Canada before they get broken down for delivery. We probably won't see anything until Thursday

Curious what people are doing for screen protectors here. I haven't really used any up to this point so I'm a bit new to it, but it's pretty overwhelming the amount of options there are on Amazon lol

I went with the ESR clear case + screen protector combo. Seems like a pretty good deal for $15.

I don't do screen protectors, but I'm looking for a bumper style case. That way I don't have to deal with magsafe and an off-brand case, etc. 
(I'm not buying anything magsafe yet..but who knows about the future).

On initial reviews today, a few comments that the new ceramic coating while more shatter-resistant, are more prone to scratching. For the first time, I'm leaning towards at least getting a screen protector...
I'm going caseless like I have on my last few Iphones. I am looking for magsafe vent holder/charger for the truck when they come out
I could totally go caseless, but for me the more minor cosmetic damages (scratches) a bit more of a concern since AC+ doesn't cover that
I've gone 2.5 years with my 8+ only having minor micro scratches on the screen, so I'm being lulled into a sense of protection lol

I’m getting this screen protector, it appears to be the thinnest glass on Amazon only for $7 3 pack with installer

I wouldn't be surprised if the other ones have pretty much the same thickness. The different brands seem to have different things they wanna focus on in their pointers haha

You may receive faster from fido but it’s better to talk to fido firstI was not able to decide between Iphone 12 pro or wait for the max. Finally decided to go for Pro. Ordered it on Saturday but it shows it will arrive by 16 Nov

My advice try contacting some fido stores that are in popular places like malls on Friday, some for sure will have stock and even places like best buy

Fellow Ontario 12 Pro orderer here. 12 Pro 256GB in Pacific Blue, ordered at 8:05 when the store opened up for me, still shows "preparing to ship". Have not yet received an Apple Care+ Coverage email, however, I was billed for Apple Care+ with Tax on my credit card on the 17th. Saw the total order for the phone as pending, however now it doesn't show. The order still shows a Friday delivery, guess we will see what happens!
I want to see if the phone would fall off or not with the MagSafe vent holder.
