Ordered Xs space black with confirm email at 3 mins after, currently shows delivery on 09/24
THough I find it off that it was pushed to that date so quickly, I would be surprised if it is pushed up to Friday.

Odd, ordered few mins ago (slept in) and I have a delivery estimate for Sept.21 on a gold XS.

I think demand for outright purchasing must have slowed with these near $2000 prices.
Kind of crazy, was just looking and forgot about iPad pricing. I can’t believe how much more expensive the phone is to an iPad Pro. Nearly double the 10.5” price.

Its the reason why I strongly believe the price for the iPhone are artificially higher than its real value. When an iPad pro with bigger screen but similar performance cost way less than this, you know there is a problem.

I agree. Past year or so the dollar has been around 1 USD = 1.3 CAD. iPhones and iPads were priced around 1.33. Pricing was pretty close.
But these iPhones are priced at 1.38. And on devices that are nearly $2000 it makes quite a difference.
Kind of scares me to think what will happen to iPad Pro prices with a redesign. Even Watch prices went up significantly. Could have sworn the Series 3 cellular I bought last year was $779 CAD + tax, and this year same option is $989 CAD.
Yea, almost all configs are still available for day 1 delivery still. I don't think it's a question of optimising the launches, most people are likely holding out for the XR, which to be fair is a much more reasonable offer in general.
Curse TELUS for starting a 2yr trade in program (though not nearly as lucrative as those in the US). I now have a 256gb gold xs max shipping to me for the 21st. Didn’t even have to get up early. Woke up, had a leisurely breakfast followed by bad decisions (was originally going to go with the gorgeous red xr since I’m still owing money on my 8+). Hoping I don’t regret the battery life. It has to be better than my work galaxy s7 (my 8+ blows that thing out of the water on battery life)?
Either they have sufficient stock or not that many people are buying as in the past. I opted with delivery as on that Friday I will be extremely busy at work and could not commit to a certain pickup window time. I will go to the Apple store after work with the sealed phone to buy AC+ and buy/have installed the Belkin anti-glare screen protector. I'm excited for next Friday i can't wait, i just hope my Lucrin case gets here in time otherwise i probably won't use the phone except at home until it comes.
One of the easier launches. Up for 3am EST ... used the Apple Store app on LTE. Site came up a few minutes after 3am. Ordered a XS Max w/256k ... delivery on Sept 21.
Much easier than last year when supplies of the X for Canada were constrained for launch. As some have mentioned the prices this year are brutal ... especially for the XS, so many are probably taking a pass.

I see them too, but pickup shows none available, yet online shipped to me it’s available. I wonder if Apple sets a certain amount for pickup and the rest for delivery only?

It's 2 pm now, 11 hours later, and I can still order a gold max 64gb for sept 21st delivery. I don't think I've seen this before.

Thanks I favourited it and it was a lot easier! Got the XS Max at 256GB Space Grey at 3:05am on my Apple Store app, gonna pick it up in store, super easy.

I think Saturday it opens at 8am or something like that. I decided i'll get a series 4 watch in March second-hand. I only need it for the gym and very select few instances, so i don't really want to pay full price. I also need some more time to decide if I want the LTE capabilities or not (likely not).
So I accidentally put in my old address for my Billing Info, will they cancel my order if it’s not the same as the card?
shipping now in October for all models. I'm so dumb i forgot to order the screen protector last night, checked just now and it's available October 16th... There's literally no alternatives available i can find in Canada that will be available near the 21st. Now i have to be extra OCD about the screen for over 3 weeks, not fun
Hello fellow Canucks - I'm back to the iWorld. I was gifted a Samsung early this year but felt quite disconnected with my daughter with the different formats and I truly missed my iPhone. Bit the bullet at 03:45 (missed alarm but woke up at that time anyway) and ordered the GOLD XS max at 256 GB. I ordered replacement smidgen magnets (for car dash), a temporary case and a back card slot attachment from Amazon.
The one thing I hope is on this phone is the fabulous photos the Galaxy 9 photo quality (which I'm certain will be on this phone) and the cool motion activated slow motion photos of the Galaxy 9.
