That’s great to hear. This makes me wonder if Apple had some launch day and frost batch release iPods that had touchscreen issues. I’m still having zero issues too. I was really disappointed when I was having the issues. I’ve been using iPads since the first generation and knew the current issues were not normal for the product line. I’m glad I finally took mine to Apple.

Just to report in with my IPP11. I too got a launch one though never had touch issues. Out of the box it had dead pixels so I had all intentions on exchanging it for a new one near the end of the return period. That’s the first time I ever used an apple device without a screen protector as well. Last month I went and exchanged my old one for a new one and installled the amfilm glass right out of the box. I can say even to today it works 99.99% of the time without issue. The only time it doesn’t is when I try to poke it with my thumb in an awkward way, and strangely it’s the only finger than doesn’t register. It isn’t natural and doesn’t hinder typing in any way at all either.

Yeah I can vouch for amFilm. I’ve been navigating, typing, and drawing without issues about 99% of the time. The only instances of something weird happening is from time to time pinch to zoom will not respond. This is very obvious only during the use of applications such as Procreate. And even then, it happens one or twice during an hour session of use. I usually remedy it by switching the hand I’m using.

I recommend them regardless. Hope this helps!

Thanks @Johnny Steps

Replaces 10.5 tempered glass screen protector indeed.
Face I.d. Flying+keypad typing accurate which I require ahead of ordering Smart Keyboard.

Mine came in today for my 11” Pro. Lined it up good but have one air bubble, hopefully it goes away with time.

I have used 1st of both.
Lots of bubbles though only on lock screen. When I tap to bring up screen there aren't any bubbles seen.
I was in such a hurry took iPad delivery then screen protector delivery and finally. Pack 10.5 for recycle.

Didn’t someone mention that it was due to the additional weight of the screen shield? Either way I am curious if Apple would ever address this issue.

I read that the JETech 3rd gen screen glass for the iPad 12,9 works 100% without sensitivity issues: can someone confirm this, please?

Is this a hardware or software issue? If it's about the hardware then I'll go for the newly released mini5 instead.
Likely hardware because I’ve have 3 other iPad models at home and none of them exhibit this behaviour

It is still working on my iPad Pro 11inch after over a month. Perfect response still.
I was rather surprised after posting about this, that no-one really seemed to notice that there was an answer to this problem now. There is now a glass screen protector that works perfectly on these new iPads so problem solved.

Given the 12inch seems to have less problems than the 11 I would imagine it work work on the 12 inch too.

*would be handy to have a few more data points from others to confirm this. However, the Amazon reviews seem to confirm it. The 1st and 2nd gen jet tech protectors (like all the other manufacturers 11inch glass protectors) had such bad reviews they actually listed the 3rd gen as a different product to avoid the legacy of the bad reviews. 3rd gen reviews are good, as is my experience.

Could you provide a link to the 3rd generation 11” version on Amazon? I can’t seem to find it. The only third generation I see is for the 12.9” model. Thanks!

It should be this: https://www.amazon.de/JETech-Schutz...,9+generation&qid=1553027525&s=gateway&sr=8-5 right?

Thank you for the link. I’m in the US, and that doesn’t seem to appear on the US Amazon site for whatever reason. I wrote the manufacturer about not being able to find the 11” version and will hopefully hear something back. Thanks again.

I’m also having much better results with the AMFilm glass protector on the 11” iPad. This is after previously returning an 11” due to unresponsive screen issues with other screen protectors.

I should have said bubbles where did my large bubbles come from.
I didn't have those with previous tempered glass 10.5
Though been in such a hurry with 10.5 to 11" swapover.
Ive been loving tempered glass screen protectors over film ones...the glass ones seem to go on without bubbles every time even if sometimes theres a tiny speck of dust or two by the edges. Just gotta make sure to flatten out any bubbles that form right after laying it down.

Some more success with a piece of kitchen towel.
Though honestly suspect AM could be dust or speckle magnet.
I'll re consider in a few days.

It’s this one

They don’t list them as 1st 2nd 3rd gen because that would show the earlier ones didn’t work. 1st gen I think was pulled from the store (no cutout and touch problems), 2nd gen had a cutout but has touch problems, 3rd gen looks the same as the second but they changed the title slightly to avoid the legacy of the terrible reviews. 3rd gen works perfectly (I think it’s better adhesive)

I think this could become a soon to be purchase.
Hope it's solid feeling and not plastic.
[doublepost=1553247629][/doublepost]Changed mind I'm going for -11.99 gorilla tempered glass one.
