I picked up another 256gb silver last night. It was basically the same as my current one (slightly warmer) so that is 3 now that all look yellow/warm when viewing straight on. Have another one on order which I will pick up tonight. Honestly at this rate I think most have a warmer screen to the last gen iPhones. Also checked a display model at my local JB hifi and it still had a warm screen but not as warm as mine. If this new one isn’t better I will just stick with what I have, at least it is uniform.

Are you returning them and buying new, or are you exchanging them as a manufacturer defect?

Were you able to compare against any space gray models?

Buying new and returning. Not going through the hassle of trying to show the staff the issue as they are oblivious to any issues.

Have fun with “we’ve never seen this issue”

Or wow never seen this issue let alone same issue multiple times for same person.

Maybe you’re looking at it wrong/live in an Apple store where lighting helps ALOT

Good luck man that’s a brutal swap game

I agree with looking in the store.

However Williamsburg is great because they have a ton of natural light coming in.

But good screens are out there, my dad has probably the most perfect one that I've seen yet with just extremely cool crisp whites and great color balance.

My new Space Gray x has better whites than the silver I had, and even though my dads is a little crisper on the white side, my screen is brighter than his. I'm fine and happy with this one and won't be driving myself nuts.

How can this display be so poor ? I paid over 1000 for this thing and even when I look at the screen from a slight angle, a blue tint covers the screen . I have other oled phones and they still have a bit of a blue tint but its nowhere near as obvious as the iphone x's .

I've also tried going to accessibility and turning on color filters > color tint, but it doesn't help much. How common is this ? If I exchange, will i still get the same issue ?

Some color shifting is normal on the iPhone X. Can you post any pictures?

Yeah I would take it to Apple with that photo. With trutone off mine looks like the one on the right. Super blue.
It really looks like truetone is on with the left phone but I can clearly see the toggle showing it as off.
