Am I correct that the Mac bios only supports boot screen over the DVI ports? I couldn't get it over the HDMI or DP.
DisplayPort should work.

I can attest to the Gigabyte Windforce OC 2GB card flashing easily enough. It is still working great in my MP 3,1 as my daily driver.
EDIT: ...and it runs very cool and quiet. It’s never had to ramp up the fans, even with apps like DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects.
THX.
I will use with these:
1. Primary: LG 34UC79G-B (2560 x 1080) and
2. Secondary: 4K LG TV.
1. Can it appear the efi screen in native resolution in hdmi output or dvi hdmi adapter?
2. What about 4K? If i'd like more than 30 hz, is it possible with dp out?
I got an 02G-P4-2685-KR after seeing the post by MacOS 8.6 that it works. However, after flashing there is no boot screen over DP, but there is over HDMI. Is this normal?
You might PM him to ask him for that specific card.
Generally speaking there should be boot screens on all of the ports. There are some exceptions, but I didn't think that your card was one of them.
Dear Gents!
I'm absolutely new on this forum. I think this is the perfect place for my goals. I really want to flash a gtx 680 for my 5.1. I found a Nvidia reference card without any branding. Do you think that could work for flashing? It was part of an Acer Predator PC. More precisely a Predator G5920.
Thank you! Ive just bought it a few minutes ago for a very reasonable price. As soon as I get it Ill will be back to report!Yeah probably.
Yeah probably.
It's the same card as the Mac Edition, forget about the suffix. eVGA used your card PCB for the Mac Edition card, the difference is that they down clocked the Superclocked firmware to the standard Nvidia frequency on the EFI firmware for Mac.Can anyone confirm that 02G-P4-2682-BR can be successfully flashed?
I confirmed that Zotac GTX680 Amp! Edition can be flashed too.

Only drawback is card back to its non-clocked speeds.
It's a 2GB or 4GB one? Seems similar to my eVGA FTW+ 4GB.Hello everybody,
I just received a GTX680. This is a "no name" version, removed from a HP PC. I think that it is a card with reference design, is it right? Is it compatible with EFI ROM for GTX680?
I have read thread (also for 4GB). There is only one version of ROM (for 2GB)?
To flash a card, there is no special think to made with hex editor? Only backup and flash card? (https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...-pci-e-2-0-5gt-s.1603260/page-4#post-17832428)
With 4K display (DisplayPort @ 60Hz), I have read there is no boot screen, is it right?
Thanks
